maybe u should split them. my couple hammie gave mme a total of close to 20 hammies at the end of it all.

we tried to sex them but got it wrong. in the end, we go many many tanks.

but that was 2 yrs+ back, they are all dead now.

so, i am also letting go of my full equipped tanks at $22 with WILD silent wheels etc.

i just got a winter white 2 days ago. she is 5 weeks old... but it seem to be v inactive!! always sleeping or stoning into the space. is it normal? she is not active at any point of the day or night. should i bring it to a vet?

Hi cotters!

My mama hamsters just gave birth to eight babies (generation three). On top of that, I have another 5 babies (generation two) about 6 weeks old. Total, there is 15 hamsters all cooped up in a cage.

Tried to sell off to pet shops but apparently, they have regulations on buying animals. Cannot buy from homeowners like us. On the other hand, me and my bro are unable to care for so many hamsters.

We are looking for serious buyers!! Pls PM me for advice/discussion.

More about the hamsters:
- Pure Roborovski breed
- They are the smallest hamsters breed (very cute!)
- Quick and agile, very active
- Very friendly, do not bite
- Sociable, no prob having mama, papa and 5 babies living in a cage

Oh I didn't know there was a thread here about hamsters! :D

I have been thinking about getting a pair of agouti robos, recently all the pet shops are filled with the white faced and pied breed. I had a pair of them 8-10 years back and they brought me such joy watching them

I got myself 2 guinea pigs after they died... and the guinea pigs have passed away last year as well, so I think I'll want to get a pair of hamsters again.

Anyone knows any home breeders or robos for adoption? Those at pet shops such as pet safari will probably never be tame because they weren't handled since young... and it's quite difficult if not nearly impossible to tame robos... too fast.

Is the female a white one by any chance? My white hamster refuses to breed, my black ones on the other hand has the breeding power to bring dinosaurs back from extinction.

im keen to adopt dwarf hamsters. i used to own 2 'batches' of hamsters but they all died of old age.
have stopped for about 3 years and recently moved to a new home and this idea kept revisiting me.

i do not have any equipment now. and if the owners are not confident that i will take good care of the hammies, they can come with me to buy the equipment and food and stuff!

When I used to keep hamsters, I ever had one mother hamster give birth to only 1 baby.

And no, she did not eat the others. Just one.

I was baffled........
