there's this pill call sunolut i think. its a hormone pill. my GP prescribed it to me cos i wanted to delay my period by a few days.... but eh, i think i'm swearing off taking such pills. 3 days down the road and i discovered myself starting to get those really HUGE zits. if it were those small ones i wouldnt be so horrified, but these are huge, red, and painful.

i think its the hormones in the pills that causes it.

plus, the breast area starts to feel really tender, and you feel quite sick. so no more pills for me

My GP told me that contraceptive pills have lower dosage now, so they are less likely to cause side effect.

I'm currently taking Mercilon given by my gynae and so far not much side effect other than water retention in the beginning. According to the brochure, it can be used to delay period also.

got the "will leak out anytime" effect throughout the extension. Very uneasy & unsecure feeling.

Well they are also sold OTC in Thailand. I have got friends to buy them for me coz they're so cheap there. However for those who have never taken any contraceptive pills before, I would advise you to consult your GP first before starting.
