About Dr Zhu
Dr Zhu obtained her Master in Medicine in 1996 and Diploma in Dermatology in 2001. She has several years of exposure and experience in aesthetic medicine and dermatology. She has since performed thousands of procedures of Botox jaw, cheek, nose, chin fillers and Medlite. She was trained personally by Prof Niwat, a renowned Medlite specialist in Bangkok. Hello DrZhu! I I am so concern with my rocky face every before my menstruation I am getting a lot of pimples that leaves not just a mark but a hole to my face. I hate attending facial so often, It uses more of my time in my off days. Do you also have short recovery but long lasting effect treatment for this kind of skin problem?

jubs: i think that's also pigmentation. it can be treated with lasers. i also have pigmentation but mine is I have small spots that looks like moles but is not in born.

Thank you for so much for question! And I really apologise for replying so late!
Now it sounds like that your acne is probably related to the hormonal changes near your menstrual period (when your estrogen and progesterone spikes). Hormonal pills can help to control and manage your hormonal profile and will make a visible difference to your acne.

It is paramount to control new acne from happening as more acne means more acne scars! And these scars can be pigmented and/or depressed, and a lot more costly to treat than acne itself!

Acute temporary treatment can be provided by any doctor who has a dematological background, which involves topical treatment of retinoids or antibiotics or even oral treatment, depending on the severity of the acne condition.
