Dear cotters

Need some advice here.
My aunt was recently diagnosed with liver cancer at the last stage. I have 3 other relatives from mom's side who were diagnosed with different types of cancer. I will like to bring my mom to a CT scan especially for liver. I understand that normal health screening(where you just submit blood and stool tests) will not be very accurate to pick up cancer at early stages hence I am thinking of doing CT scan.

Anyone of you have gone for CT scan before? Is there a CT scan where they will scan the full body or is it targetted areas. It's very hard to find this information online as there are so many health screening packages around but most are without CT scan.
Pls advise.
