I have never had bulimia, although I have tried ... I have been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa since I was twelve, though, and have been asking people if I was fat since I was 5 ...

perfectionism and trying to better yourself is common for an eating disorder (ED) and hence that voice in the head is known by eating disorder patients as Ed. I still suffer with him, although I am now at normal weight and considered "stable". You should get help ... the grass is really greener on the other side ... but it is a long, long journey ... I've been hospitalized 3 times ... a total of 6 months and a feeding tube for 2 of those months ... although anorexia is considered "harder to recover from" (which I don't believe) bulimia has long term physical effects on the body which you are already experiencing ... please, please, please! get some help.
