Diary of a 76.9kg girl taking Pabesy

    22 Sept 2010:

Day 1 - Took my first Pabesy 15mg given by my doctoc @7am this morning before shower. Only had a sandwich at 8.00 while otw to work..

10am: I am feeling slightly giddy but no increase in heart rate yet.. Only Slight giddiness.. Dont feel hungry or any mood swings.....

12.35pm: Not a sign of hunger. Normally, my stomach would been noisy by now to get some food.

3pm: Still at work and doing ok.. No signs of any side effects yet. Had very small portion of Mee Tai Bak and tonic soup for lunch (to avoid gastrics); still feeling full. Normally, i would be hungry and munching by now..

7.30pm: Leaving for home now.. Dont feel any side effects and not hungry at all... Well, seems like Day 1 went well. We will see Day 2.

    Hi Jess94,

My Panbesy has been good. No side effects like what some women faced. It is now my 5th day and i have shed 3kgs. Just eating small breakfast & light dinner. No appetite for lunch. I dont know how to get it for you but i can recommend the doc that i got it from. Can i PM you?

isnt 3kg in 5 days too much?
or are you just losing fluid?

    Hi Mianne,

My dosage is not as strong as the rest who takes it which is 30mg.. Mine is only 15mg. I wont say i am losing fluids as this meds will make me thirsty thus i am drinking alot of water and naturally pee lots. The first time i weigh myself at the doc was 76.9kg but i weigh myself this morning and i am now 73.7kg.

Some people are overweight due to too much fluid in their body while some are because of stored fats.

Well basically, the doc explained that stored fats (energy) in my body will be used to subsitute the food that i am not taking, therefore losing the weight.

I would recommend cotters not to go for any diet pills. I had pabesy and duramine before at different period... My blood pressure was at normal level before eating the pills, after consume the pills for a period, my blood pressure shot up to a level of 160. i was so worried and i stop the pills but my pressure still stuck at 140 for several months.
Now, my pressure is back to normal as i often exercise.
I will advise cotters to go for exercise to slim down instead of pills].

    Hi Ah Bui83

    Thank you for your advice,..

I would like to just excercise and watch what i eat but i have been doing it for like 3-month period and i did not lose any weight. I even had a personal trainer and stil nothing worked.. From watching my calories intake to the extend of joing a kick-boxing group.

This is just a desperate measure lose weight as my wedding date is getting closer. Once the wedding is done, i promised myself i be on the excercising routine again..
