Asian Rhinoplasty (Nose job)

hi gals ive been really troubled about my small flat asian nose for so long already. was thinking of just getting it done over the school break. anyone have any recommendations?

i read that seoul in general is like much much better than singapore, although im quite SCARED to go alone!

if anyone is thinking of getting anything done, can also post here and we'll discuss!!

finally a nose job thread here. i wanted to go for one last year but end up shelved the idea. even travelled all the way to seoul to consult the doctors etc, then i chose not to in the end.

i really regret not doing it then ***, now have to waste more money to travel there, book hotel all that.

well, from personal experience BK Clinic isnt very friendly or hospitable place, from the doctors to the nurses. i cant speak korean at all, so i was having trouble describing what i want and i couldnt really understand the doctor also (although he was speaking english). i'm not sure if he's Dr Kim Byung Gun or not.

So anyway end up i had to go to other clincs to consult. i also went to Migo Clinic and Dr Jung's Clinic(?) in Shimmian.

I think of all of them Dr Jung seemed the most professional. Dunno why, just a feel I get. I heard of him from one of the other forum's Rhinoplasty thread and everyone there seems to say he's the best, etc., so I decided since I was there I might as well go. He charges USD$4000 i think for primary rhinoplasty; revisional rhinoplasty is another price (not too sure).

hope other girls who have done can tell us who to go to. i think i want to go during november like that

yup omgosh why didnt you just go with it when you were there, i dont think its that painful/scary, so many girls (and guys) have gone for it already! you mentioned BK clinic right? that was actually my first choice last time, yeah until i read quite a few horror stories and the pictures on the website look a little bit fake for my liking. i prefer nice, refined and natural hahaa dont know whether im asking for too much onot.

so did you see any b+a pictures there? im quite curious to know about Migo clinic and dr jung. but 4000usd seems quite ex yeah

i know my sister did it before but not sure with who. she went to seoul. but the result is very nice indeed

omgosh any pics?? its ok if you cant share it here, i understand. try to ask her and see if she can recall the clinic she went to then share with us.

i asked her last night and she said she went to migo clinic like you mentioned, she said she got 3D(?) rhinoplasty if im not wrong. there are quite a few doctors at migo clinic and she isnt really sure which one she went to. quite sometime le, from end 07 to now about 2+years.

downtime wise, actually less than i thought, by about 2-3 weeks she started looking quite normal le, i.e. if you dont know her before you probably cant tell.

overall, i think its quite worth it ***, subtle and refined change. but for me i definitely WONT cos im scared of needles even, much less PS hahaha

actually i think taller noses look strange on asian faces, like not as harmonious. i like small cute noses maybe my nose is a little too tall thats why, i can i dont mind making it smaller like zoe tay's haha. wonder how much will that cost hmm

i think making the nasal bone smaller/thinner is called nasal osteotomy. its like breaking the bone and reattaching it or something. i remember reading this on the BK clinic query page.

i guess putting in an implant is easier. btw is silicon or goretex better? sigh...if only my nose was born nice and refined wont have to go through this le ahha

what you guys think about bkk clinics like yanhee? its really so cheap!! take a budget airlines go there also less than surgery in korea.

but my mom say down there have alot of aids dunno whether they sterilize the equipment

i think i rmb seeing her in the cai hua hengyi chu xin xiu 88, her nose was like that already. very thin small and refined, but natural looking. so lucky
