Default Anybody knows any ongoing promotion for this?

i'm thinking to go for cervical cancer vaccine. anybody knows if there's any ongoing promotion for a package or something?

i got many different prices as much as 200$/jab and i saw many ladies actually can get 300+ for 3 jabs.

so was wondering if any ladies could recommend some clinics that offers that?

    thanks in advance

Cervarix: protects against Types 16 and 18 (these cause cancer) apparently can last 6 years so far as tested. Still testing on this

Gardasil: protects against the two types same as Cervarix, AND two types that cause warts, apparently can last ~ 5 years as tested. Still testing on this.

For me, I chose Gardasil. Why be protected against less when I can be protected against more? You can't think of it as the way cheaper = not as good, in terms of time Cervarix is proving to last longer than Gardasil for now, but it only protects against two. I can spare that one year.

To all dear cotters: please be reminded that there are ~200 HPV types and around 40 of these are sexually transmitted. They can even result in cancers in the lip, the nasal cavity, in your mouth... These are only 4 we're protected from, so here I must add a public service announcement; don't forget to keep up the Pap smears and have safe sex
    Thanks cosmonautte for your advice!

I think Gardasil can protect against more viruses whereas Cervarix can last long..

I just realise that both these vaccines can only last 5-6 years, which mean we got to go for cervical cancer vaccines once every 5-6 years?

I was told by the clinic assistant it's only good for girls below 25.

    =(

Recently, I've been having problems inserting my tampon. It seems to me I might have some growth that is blocking my vagina passage. No idea if it's the case, does anyone has such problems?

Not sure about whether it's around or have you gotten it. Perhaps you can call NCCS cancer helpline to ask if they have a not. I recently went to their Facebook and they are posting quite a few good articles. may help.

the Gardasil shot is a series of three shots and its painful! i only got my second one like 2 months ago.. and i would be returning to the doctors for my third one in a couple of months. I must admit when the nurse stab the needle in.. that was like hell!

I'm actually afraid to go back to the doctors for my third shot LOL
I also did receive the side effects. >.> but I'm not surprise I got the side effects since I'm like those sensitive skin type of person. LOL But other than the pain and the slight side effects, the pain should disappear in like 2-3 days (for me).

Gardasil vaccine is part of Cervical cancer treatment in Germany to prevent the sexually transmitted virus that causes cervical cancer. Yes. In clinical trials, Gardasil was effective in groups of sexually active women age 26 or younger, some of whom had already been infected with one or more types of HPV. However, Gardasil and Cervarix only protect you from specific strains of HPV to which you haven't been exposed. The more sexual partners you've had, the greater your chance of having been exposed to multiple types of HPV.
