Anyone knows if acupuncture can really help to improve blood circulation and get rid of water retention? My problem seems to be concentrated on my legs/thighs - feel rather heavy at times.
Suspect water retention also can happen around face area leading to puffiness of face, eyes... Anyone tried acupuncture before and did it help? Any good acupuncturist that you know of?![]()
Hi Everyone. I've never tried Acupuncture before but would like to try it out. I have low immunity and am pretty stressed at work. Can anyone suggest a place to go to? and what price should I expect to pay?
Thanks![]()
hey kush. what kinda acupuncture are you looking for?
go for *** kuang they have lots of branches island wide. i have tried them and it works for me. once i fell and hit the staircase and went to them 3 times and i was healed. mine condition was quite bad cos i hit the bones.
I went to eu yan sang at tampines. not bad. you can lie down while you receive treatment. No smell at all. wonderful. about 25 bucks.
Hey, PM me if interested in acupuncture! i know of professionals doing it, and it isn't too costly (:
went for one over at silat ave block 147. near orange valley nursing home. (sorry i dun have the contact number already)
its a chinese lady doctor from china.
i had bloating & stomach discomfort (lower abdomen very bloated and hard like i was constipated, around 2 weeks and it hurt so bad even after seeing a western doctor. i was skeptical but decided to go consult her)
she got me to try acupuncture.
it goes like that, you lie down, she puts 1 above belly button, another at bottom, then one on each hand near the nerves under the thumb. then another 2 i think were near my ankles (don't rem)
after that she got you to rest half and hour with them on you.
its very very strange. you might twitch but you feel a warmth around the areas.
she also 'scrap' (Gua1 Sha1) my upper back along the shoulders.
when i left, the areas where she 'stabbed' felt relaxed but 'suan1' like very tired. the whole consultation and treatment took more than an hour. before treatment, she also asked what's wrong, ask questions &touch my pulse.
she gave me some chinese medicinal herbs to cure digestion, clear the system and sleep better (i have insomnia)
they are in tiny sachets, you have to mix with water to drink. quite bitter. all dried grassy looking stuff which has been pounded.
costed me around 80bucks for everything.
it really helped me sleep better, i did have diahorrea, the hardness on the lower tummy left too.
better than those western medicines.

i re-read what i wrote, i know it sounds like those 'lao qian' but its a decent clinic.

Hi girls...im keen to explore into accupuncture slimming.Any recommendations? Is it painful, that's what im most worried of too...Let me knowk.Im on the heavier side, roughly how many treatments i need?
Hello cutie, I do have recommendation for good acupuncture slimming. My cousins are testimonials of this kind of treatment. It treats obesity as a disease so it's directed at curing the "disease". Acupuncture is actually not painful, just some numbness feeling. I would not know how much treatment you need but I can recommend a good professional consultant to address the problem.
Hello! Maybe you already know by now that acupuncture is a great help in treating various health problems. Even the World Health Organization has declared acupuncture successful treats a variety of medical conditions.
