I think this kind of products works for some but not all... YMMV i guess. Doesn't mean expensive = good or cheap =not effective. Have been considering these for the longest time already, but never got to do it! Even $350 is very expensive! 1.8k?? *faints*

How did you get used to it? I feel miserable wearing the trays... the paste is STICKY and yucky (can't they put strawberry flavoring... how hard can it be to put some nice flavour???).

I put very little to prevent overflow (I smear the tray insides carefully to coat). Then my saliva self-activates because there's something foreign in my mouth so I stuff a wad of tissue in my mouth (lest the saliva mixes with that horrid paste eeeeeek). Miserable <== icon not miserable enough.

Why only top teeth, mine are both trays, also $250... but he gave me the MAINTENANCE kit meant for after the 1-hr $1100/ 1800 dentist treatment... I don't have enough confidence in it, since I didn't undergo the 1-hr $1100/ 1800 treatment in 1st place

is the effects of this whitening only temporary i.e several months or so? Don't wish to fork out $1000+ for something that will only last a short while!
at most ask the photographer to digitally enhance the colour of your teeth for the wedding photos

nothing's permanent... it will stain with coffee, tea, coke etc. Price's $250 for 1-hr daily for 6 weeks home kit, $1100/ 1800 for a one-time, 1-hr at dentist treatment.

Photog can enhance... at a price, or the more expensive packages... still won't help the candid shots taken by friends...
    So sad.

so long as your teeth looks relatively ok i think the photos should turn out well in any case your friends will probably be concentrating on the happy look on your face/ whole atmosphere of the event then just the teeth right? so long as there's no food on your teeth i think it should be fine Me, i need to do intensive workout to tone my body OR lipo my fats away from my thunder thighs to fit myself into the pants suit ( am thinking of wearing that + the usual gowns next time) in any case our traditional ceremony is still some time ahead so have lots of time to prepare

Not 1 hour treatment. Mine took more than 3hours. They have to coat your teeth first. Then, use some beam on it etc. I remembered going in at around 1 and leaving after 4.

I was thinking pants suit too... then realised that most pants suits tend to look ahem, like a certain political party if in cream or white...
anyway I went and bought a DARK dress. Oops.

Dimples, must be uncomfortable... I know mine are

Yup.. usually I can just watch TV while the dentist goes about his job of cleaning etc. But that time, they even had to cover my eyes. Think it's something to do with the rays they use

Eh! I only used it once, 1 hr... hmm seems a wee bit brighter! Hope it's not a placebo effect... teeth abit sensitive though.
On an arbitrary scale of 1 (brightest achievable white of ANY human being) to 10... mine in natural state is 8... dentist said I can hope for, AT BEST, 5. I think I see a 7 or 6. I think effects will reach a plateau of 5 or 6.

Am practising drinking out of a straw at home too... I think this bleaching will predispose to easier staining (CRANBERRY juice! Yumyum!)

i dont like my teeth! cos they're very yellow. and i realised it's cos the enamel is practically transparent so you can see the yellowish "insides" of your teeth. for a problem like tt, teethwhitening products are useless, only a cap will do! dont have money or the tolerance to do tt on all my front teeth.

had braces when i was young, but my teeth still jut out a little.
