For the past two months i have been taking the medicine to delay my menses for afew days. Ever since my menses will always be late for very long, sometimes it will only come once every few months, which i find that it is not normal at all. Gets me so worried nowadays. When my menses don't come, i get so stressed, so nauseous, and giddy everyday. Don't dare to go to a doctor as i'm so worried that she will tell me something is not right with my body.

Are you currently in a new environment or under some form of stress? I used to have delayed menses. The latest delay is freaking 9 months. After I mustered enough courage to see the doctor, they sent me to KK hospital for a more thorough checkup.
I was so worried, but luckily there is nothing wrong with me. Diet and mental well-being played an impt part. Now my menses are getting irregular again and I am quite affected as I am planning for a baby. I wished I had seek professional help earlier. Now I am taking TCM and having more healthy food.
Dun fret too much over seeing the doctor for irregular menses. Its better to treat now, then wait until *touch wood* should anything happen right?
Babe, 9 months later and you go and see a doctor? If its one month i will get so worried already. To wait 9 months is unbelievable my dear girl. Stress and diet play a very important part in menses. I'm also like you girls, whenever i'm super stress, tired, and don't eat well, my menses will get real late and get me so worried thinking that i'm pregnant. My mum will not accept me being pregnant as she is very conservative. To her, being single, not married must never ever get pregnant.
Dear Girls,
Please check out Anion Sanitary Napkins.. it is very good..
I only started using it abt 3mths ago.. but I really see improvement in myself.. and my period started to regulate around 28 days..
And I do NOT have my past problems of itch, rash or hv white discharge.. =)
U can PM me if u wanna know more details.. =)

I have irregular menses too!
can I see a doc at the polyclinic? or need to go to a women clinic or sth?
mine is irregular too!
went to my family doc and she pressed my abdominal area to look for lumps. she also referred me to another clinic for scans, which turned out to be alright. zhennn89, if you are worried, you can get ur family doctor to refer you to a specialist. my doctor also told me that as long as the period is not delayed for more than 6 mths...it is not a worrying issue.

Few months back I experienced late menses as well. My menses was late for 3 weeks. It seldom happen (so far the latest I had experienced was 2 weeks and it only happened once). I was also a bit hesitant to see a doctor but I went in the end. The doctor told me that it is a very common problem. She said it could be due to stress or traveling. She checked and prescribed me some medication. I did not take the medication immediately. I waited for another week or so hoping that my menses will come on its own but it didn't so I took it and it came but very light. The next month, the same thing happened. I was thinking, maybe I should see the doctor again. Imagine menses didn't come for 2 consecutive months naturally. A bit worrying because it never happened to me before as I have always been very regular.
But thank god...after waiting for another week or so, it came on its own. Right now, I am back to my regular cycle again. I try not to stress myself too much as it could be the cause of my problem. I also try not to rush from places to places. Try to take things naturally. I know it is difficult but for the sake of our own health try to do so. The message I am trying to put across is, don't be afraid to see a doctor. Sometimes, the problem may not be as serious as you thought. Small problem is always easier to fix than big problem.
I just wonder if anyone has experienced menses coming in about 19-20 days? I noticed that once in a blue moon, I will have my menses early. Still trying to monitor on that.
Hi girl, my menses has been coming for 3 weeks and show no sign of stopping or reducing.. It's not heavy flow just normal I will get when I'm having 7 days cycle..I got no pain whatsoever everything just as usual.. What's happening to me?!?! What can I do to make it stop?!
