Hi all,
I have just done my suture this afternoon and I was really frightened by the swelling.. It is really bad with bruises.. Though the surgeon gave me a whole chunk of medicine to be completed in 1 week's time.. But I was very worried that the swelling will not subside over the next 2 days.. Which I'm supposed to report back to work on Thursday..
After reading what you guys have posted, then I realized alot about applying ice to your eyes. However, the nurse told me try not to let my eyes come into contact with water while showering, and that I can only use towel to dry wipe my eye area.. Was wondering how is it possible for your ladies to apply ice on the eyes then?? And for those that has recovered, how did you manage to shower?
Please share with me any tips that will be helpful as I'm really very troubled.... :,(

When I did my revision at TCS a few months back, I was given Sinecch, which helped a great deal (compared to when I did (surgery + revision) in Korea).
On icing, I was taught to use ice pack , wrapped in clean towel and gently pat the area. Dr Richard Teo also advised to rest well. Sleeping with head elevated, above the level of your heart will help reduce swelling and speed up the resolution of the swelling. And to remember to take the medications given, especially the anti inflammatory.

I am considering cutting deeper eyelids and also lengthening my eyes. I have double eyelids but not deep or high enough.
1st consideration is RESULTS, 2nd is price. If results are very good, I dont mind paying more.
I heard Yanhee is very good? But downside must stay there for 1 week + to remove stitches.
Hi,
Anyone done cutting double eyelid with Andrew Tay Novena Medical centre? Pls share.
Hi can someone who went to Dr Wong from Gleneagles to do their double eyelid & send me their before .& after pics to me? As I'm thinking to do it on June this year.My email (jocin_86@hotmail.com)

Would like to know whether there is any referral discount given if i take up double eyelids surgery at Dr Wong @ Gleneagles? If there is, can anyone be my referee? How much will the surgery be? Would the surgery be able to tilte droopy eyelids upwards? Besides Dr Wong, is there any other doctor whom offer cheaper, quality service? How long will the healing process be? Thank you for your advice
Could you kindly send me your pix? I'm keen in double eyelid surgery, but how much did you pay for the service? Any idea whether there will be referral discount given to customer? Did you go for the surgery that will enlarge/lengthen your eyes? He recommended this addtional service to me, but i have to pay $1500, on top of the double eyelid surgery. My email is smilepiyo@hotmail.com and hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.
Hi Jesse, I just make appointment with Dr Wong for tomorrow. I had read all the forum about Dr Wong. Some of them said it will take quite long time to recover after surgery. I am very nervous, scare, worry, excited now.... All my feeling make me can't sleep well and get nightmare whole night.![]()

Hi all,
after reading the threads here and there, want to have double eye lid but concern on the recovery. Currently i have double eyelid but kinda hidden. Was looking at the scareless eye lid surgery however, as the post date seems rather old, can someone advise me the good surgeons that provide the scareless technique and the major difference between cut and no cut? As in today's technology, do cutting still have scar?
