I have read numerous testimonals on the benefits of bird's nest but due to lack of time etc, will bottled ones do the trick? Anybody out there has skincare improvements brought about by drinking bottled bird's nest on a regular basis? *** brands are good?
I think it helps ***. to some extent..
I used to buy a lot cos I'm lazy to boil it myself. so I buy those bottled ones. I don't buy concentrated cos I realised that it may become mouldy due to unclean spoons to scoop the contents then very heart pain.
I buy the HOCK HUA and also Eu Yan Seng's bottled bird nest.
They recommended that u drink it as the last thing before sleep for complexion and first thing in the morning when u wake up for your lungs.. Hope that helps. I find it's helpful cos my complexion is very good after I drink on regular basis.. now I seldom drink, a bit sallow.. old ****.. *sighz*
How much you comsune before you can actually see the effect?
Hock Hua sells those concentrated kind seems quite good.
I ever bought those $30+ per bottle. Good enough when that time I was only like 21-22.
Only had a few bottles so don't see any improvement.
Now, every once in a while when I remember, I will take one pce to steam to eat.
Still don't see any improvement.
Maybe didn't eat often enough.
OT: Ray, you must huge a regular consumption.
Your skin is so![]()
Um... you are being modest again.
Maybe all the $$ goes to your LV bags?

I buy Lao Hang Jia's bottle bird's nest, daily 2 teaspoon. I think they are quite good but abit on the costly side at $138 per bottle and a bottle last a month. Hope that helps.
Birds nest is secret to supple skin - no bluff -Fan Wong takes it & perhaps she has maintained good results she doesnt have to take it so regularily now i read.
My makeup artist for my wedding (from the BS) also takes brids nest - she used to take on a monthly basis & insists that cooked ones are better than bottled ones for supple skin results. She does have very nice model like supple skin I am so jealoused! even though she has stopped for several months.
snowly that's about $4.60 worth per day in 2 teaspoons. Can i eat one bottle over 2-3 mths? for $$ reasons? - will it spoil? say i use clean dry spoons each time? This might call for those mini fridges in your own rooms - i am afraid that my maids will steal my birds nest! - bottle form i can tell if one's missing. perhaps i should rebottle it- i am so afraid that my MIL or sister in law will throw it away thinking that its some expired food i left in the fridge - if i put it into a plastic bag, hmm this calls for some planning.

ya i think home cooked ones are better..bottled ones not much use in my opinions
bottled ones are definitely inferior to those that u can cook urself cos afterall it's more processed than when u just cook it urself...
But i believe the benefits of it is still present...
I was wondering how long can a bottle last after opening if u take one/two tsp a day...
vit_c, it is a must to put them in fridge coz there are no preservatives. As for whether can last longer depends on one's consumtion.
Lol, this is from insider knowledge, bottled ones are normally made from inferior kind of birdnest... the price difference for raw bottled kind and those you hv to cook kind is really alot... I personally only eat those I hv to cook myself... for something so ex, why stinge? I used to take 1 spoonful a day in the morning before breakfast... I must say my skin was v good then lol![]()
about 2 mths. I feel more radiant and my skin quite supple.Originally Posted by pinkdewy

Thanks
Do you think that they claim no preservatives and it really does not contain it?
If really preservatives don't think can last that long.... one month...
anyone tried Brand's Bird's Nest with Collagen? Is it good?
