sometimes is that u are too "heaty" or use too much force or sit too long in the loo then will get piles.
trying out some herbal pills at the moment. after the first dose, seemed better... already pain for days! hope it can like goes off fast!! i think sometimes i really use too much force so always have the extra flesh coming out but first time, i feel the pain from the flesh...

Koakuma, can push in one? usually i wait for it to like go back on its own it don't really bothers me unless it's like now, painful...

well, i suffered piles on off for abt 3-4 yrs then last year finally went to remove as it has become stage 3 piles ( have to push flesh back).
the day surgery is very fast, once i get pushed into the operating theatre ..inhale the gas n concussed.hehe
next thing i know i was in the recovery room..stay for few hours then go home.
took about 1-2 wks to recover.though everyday need to soak in a warm sitz bath so that wound will heal faster.
have to take fybogel then lactus so that pass motion won't be painful.
so my advise for those with piles, if it becomes so bad that u have to pushed it back..please consider removing it.Now at least i won't feel pain.
Go polyclinic get refer letter n it's cheaper when u go hosp to remove.

    Hi all,

Do you have any good doctor to recommend? Preferably a lady doctor. I suspect I might have piles but too embrassed to consult a doctor. But now I come to realise that if you need to see a doctor, you need to see a doctor.

that sounds like you have piles. get it treated early. If it worsens, you actually get pus and bleeding. My doctor has explained that the worst situation is that you have to wear a sanitary pad to absorb the constant bleeding and pus leaking. No joke. Thats before you need to get it surgically removed.

The doctor will usually prescribe a course of oral medication and a cream - gel for application.

I wonder is piles more serious than anal fissure or the other way round? Which is more complicated?

My apology that I am going to ask an extremely stupid question. When you go and see the doctor, did the doctor check you from the front or back i.e. your back is facing the doctor? You will not see the doctor's face. Up to now, I still do not ave the courage to see the doctor. I feel so embrassing even if the doctor is of the same gender.

I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) but I have researched that bloody stool is not linked with this IBS. But I do understand that when constipation is involved, there bound to be bleeding because the faeces are too hard to pass out through the anus, thus tearing tissues and causing blood.

I think I am going over to the polyclinic this Sat to get a referral letter for a specialist for a scope check-up. My GP told me it's around 800bucks to 1k.
WTH. And it's very painful. Just afraid that it's either hemerroids or gastrointestinal problems etc.

Rather embarrassed for awhile than to suffer FOREVER.

Dear all, last few mths i realised that whenever i passed motion, there is no pain only blood whenever i wipe and only recently then it becomes more (more blood & i also felt a lump there when i bath)..i got panicked and went to see a chinese physician that cured my childhood asthma and constipation.

Fyi, i had constipation for as long as remember, as far back as a child...can spend like eternity in the toilet!!

    The medical checkup-
i was told to pull down my shorts till my knees and lying sideways, facing the wall with my legs curled up (so that my ass is pointing out) then he will put a tiny camera inside and see what is wrong. It does feel a little discomfort but it's bearable. Before finishing the procedure, he 'sprayed' some medication inside, which also felt almost nothing...and all is done.
I do not feel embarrassed as i see him as a doctor and as a professional, there is nothing wrong with it. And of cos, i am desperate to see what is wrong with me.

After that he explained my condition to me that i had four inside my anus and i have to go thru 16 treatments (the same procedures of injecting the medication inside) (3 times a week) and take his medicine, with each visit costs me $45..

He says that this results from my long-time constipation and it was actually spread from one to more now..and this is the next best alternative to surgery and i have to abstrain from certain food for 100days so that it will nt come back for good...

I trusted him since he has proven to cure my asthma and constipation for good and he so-called 'specialize in this as there alot of scary pics of other ppl'e bums on his table and he has the equipment to see the insides of ur bum) I am not trying to "promote" him but just trying to share my experiences...

My concern is that currently i am not sure if i am pregnant (and if yes, i can't go thru this yet till i given birth as it is said to be too 'cooling') so now i can just wait and see if i am really preg..

i am so vexed now as i wanted to have a baby and this problem has to come now? Of course i will be happy if i am preg but this will delay the treatment and i am scared *** it wil spread more?

Hi there... i used to have this problem too,. went thru all these before. i heard from my dr that there is actually 4 stages for piles. if you are in the stage 1, only need take medicines. stage 2- injection or rubber band but if in stage 3-4 then need surgery. it tooks me a few yrs to get to stage 3-4 but i always have hard time passing motion. i tried all sort of methods.. but still ends up in surgery. I guess normal diets, lots of fluids and no reading in toilet will helps to prevent it from coming back...
