actually the fruit and veg 'diet' worked for me.
just replace one main meal a day with nothing but fruit and veg.

other meal, cut down on carbo, maintain (or decrease slightly) the amount of protein/meat, and huge servings of fruit!

but couldn't maintain it beyond a month....

Mine is not exactly a diet, but a lifestyle. I try to cut down on carbohydrates, especially rice, i eat less than 3 tbsp full of rice a day!
Keep my meals small but often, so i keep my energy level high throughout the day. Plenty of fruits and vegetables are also highly recommended, and drink LOTS of water.
    I'm a water buffalo.

me too. i have sweet tooth (or teeth!!), tends to munch on snacks like sweet, chips, chocolate, lately icecream!! gotta take it slow, if you cut down all snacks dramatically, you'll rave for more!! one step at a time, eg. today you feel like eating chocolates, eat! just limit your intake! or you can replace with something, like mayb a piece of dark chocolate (milk chocolate contains more sugar). it's all about choices. Who is going to make those choices?? it's US!!

I think the best way is still to exercise while being careful about your diet.

the usual things - eat only until you're no longer hungry not until you're full; cut down on carbos; eat more veggies and fruits; avoid fatty and fried foods; eat more soupy stuff; stop drinking soft drinks and snacking...

change your lifestyle and you wont have to worry about your weight!

my problem is tt im too picky about food. i've even fought and cried over the choice of a dining place for dinner with my bf. blame it on PMS.

i'm probably one of the worst persons to post here coz i've a major sweet tooth. in supermarkets, you'll find me at the confectionary aisle. at bakeries, i'm near the cashier deciding which cake to buy. if you ask me who's my fav sesame street character, i've to say cookie monster.

i probably know all the golden rules to eating. my challenge is to cut down on sweet stuff. at least for health concerns.

second what everyone has been saying about upping your intake of fruits, vege and fibre. drink loads of water. try to limit carbs to earlier parts of the day. i hate deep fried and oily stuff.

i'm going to be good and limit the sweet stuff.

and last but not least, diet pills are probably a waste of money and time. don't risk your health for a slimmer self. there are cheaper ways to do it. eat right and you'll see the rewards. besides, your health's going to thank you for it and you'll feel tons better too.

Agreed with ataraxia too!! to lose weight, still gotta exercise. controlling diet can only maintain weight.

it took me a long~~ time to change my lifestyle. now, i will munch on fruits or biscuits instead of cookies or chips. i eat less fast food too. my last visit to Mac was months ago. Ladies, keep it up! We can do it!!

however, i dun think NTUC provides the 3-days diet plan in box, but with the food list you can get them easliy from any NTUC. [/url]
I thought they did. I tried them when it 1st came out and they have the box. Don't know about now.
Anyway, I saw some results. But I didnt carry on long enough for significant weight reduce. Couldn't really stand eating some of the food in long run. Like having only cottage cheese with biscuits for lunch and steamed plain beetroot and beans for dinner. :puke:
