Feather hair extensions

Feather hair extensions are the new trend now. Seriously, who knew?
As when I was watching american idol on channel 5, I saw Steven Tyler has something in his hair. So then the craze started because of him.

Me and my friend were like, so we shall be the 1st in sg to do it.

However, the rooster with such feathers are only breed in America. And we don't dare to go to fly fishing shop to find for them...
So malu, especially when the demand is so high in America, the feather prices rise to 42times the amount. (used to be 30buck for 300pieces, now its 30buck for like 6-7 pieces)

Won't the fly fish shop keeper be angry that females hunt for their stuffs instead of fishermen.

Anyway, with the urge to try them, we bought them off ebay. We were lucky, some online stores are totally sold out.
The package came with 8 strands of feathers(a mixture of natural and purple/blue colors), beads and a threader to DIY your hair into a bead and then we clam with the feathers.


It's loooovely.
You can iron it straight, curl it, wash it... basically anything with ur real hair.
Plus it's ultra light, you won't feel that it's there. And it's removable and reusable.

hi yurigiri, are you able to recommend the ebay store you got the feathers from? the ones i found looked like they wouldn't be able to withstand any washing, let along curling or iron...

I think they ran out single bundle ones
They only left with the salon kit.

You can email them if they do sell in a separate packing.
Since we asians mostly black/dark hair. I asked the seller to help me pick colors that suit our hair color.
