Have tried Bio a+o.e and Akin.
Tried the sample for Bio a+o.e but i think the duration might be too short for me to experience any changes. Anyway the price for it is too high for me to even consider. Similar case for John master organics, the price is on the high side.
Have used Rosemary, lemongrass and Mandrain Akin shampoo (Mandarin 1 is good and i think suitable for every1) since then and have sticked to them. They are kind of mild, cleanse well and not too irritating.
For those who started using organic shampoos, was there some sort of detox timeframe when your scalp and hair conditions started to get worse for a good while?
Been using the Lemongrass shampoo and unscented conditioner for combatting oily and flaky scalp and hair loss for a few days. So far, I like that they don't burn my eyes and parts of my skin. However, I found the Lemongrass shampoo quite harsh and stripping. Also, it seems my scalp actually starts producing oil soon after washing the shampoo off. At present, I massage my scalp and double cleanse to prevent accumulation of oil and to remove flakes. Then I rinse with cold water.
So far, I've used a clarifying shampoo in case there has been buildup, using warm water to wash my scalp and even diluting the shampoo but none of these are working.Perhaps I should omit the conditioner and see what happens.
or you could just use organic and natural bar soaps to wash your hair, for me, it cleanses my scalp pretty well, and I'd always ensure that I do a final rinse with diluted red wine vinegar. After around a month or two of using bar soap, my hair appears healthier and I do spot new hair growth appearing.
Have tried giovanni tea tree triple threat shampoo for 1 month or so. Its refreshing (slightly minty but not as strong as selsun) and ingredients are quite safe to me.
seems to be help slightly with acne on scalp.
Used to use akin. Its okay but didnt do to much to elimate the acne for me.
