what type of hair brush do you use?
i'm currently using a wide tooth comb to detangle my wet hair, and after that use a big hair brush to brush it out and blow dry.
i recently read that:
been wanting to find those type of hair brush that salon uses when blow drying the hair... as i think it really helps to reduce static and frizz, which makes the hair really smooth after blow drying.Tourmaline Bristles
Tourmaline bristles are a more recent option. These are often used on round brushes and are designed to work with the heat from your hair dryer when you style your hair.
According to folica.com, tourmaline bristles inject moisture into your hair as you brush. People generally use tourmaline hairbrushes when they blow dry their hair to eliminate the need for a flatiron, as the tourmaline bristles can help straighten hair as it dries. Tourmaline bristles aren't just for straightening, however. They also reduce static and frizz in difficult-to-tame hair.
anyone knows where i can find such brush? thanks!
Tourmaline Brushes sound good, I am actually about to buy a Tourmaline Curling Iron because I have heard how it leaves hair smooth instead of frizzy from the heat.

Are these brushes worth the splurge? Found them in Watsons and I'm tempted to get couple of their brushes. I've never spent more than $3 for a hairbrush in my life! They cost around $20ish-$30-ish each.
my most expensive brush used to be from TBS only. but after i researched on tournaline brushes, i decided to splurge on one round tournaline brush which i saw at sephora.
despite the heart pain due to the price, i've no regrets so far. it really prevents all the fly-away hair after blow drying, and can straighten the hair pretty well even without using flat irons. my old round brush from daiso doesn't even give me such results.
ohmy, can i know how does your brush look like? Any picture? I've not checked out sephora ones.
I have over shoulder length hair. Although my hair is generally healthy and naturally straight, I prefer a brush that tames the flyaways and non static and probably prevents split ends (which i dont have luckily for now).

I've just checked with the Singapore distributor and Kent brushes is having 30% off for June11, on online purchase. Velvut Home | Kent Brushes Singapore.
I'm buying a handful and some have to be indent since they dont carry them in local market. Have to wait about 5-6weeks.
Those that have available stock, they will send over within 2-3 working days, for free. And they have extended the discount to me although it's not June yet =)
ohmy: may i know which brush is it? isit a in-house brand sephora?
which one from kent brushes is good? LBR2 or NS03?
I'm ordering these from Kent :
1. AHP13W
2. AH3
3. KS30
4. NS07
5. NS09
Direct from Kent UK shipping is 39.95 or 49.95 pounds. Can't remember exact
I'm actually waiting for the local distributor to give me the breakdown/final invoice for my order then shall compare with Kent UK online price.

This advanced haircare essential harnesses the power of tourmaline to deliver spectacular results. The bristles release negative ions on contact with hair. The ions penetrate the core of the hair shaft, canceling static and frizz and turning up the shine factor. The ceramic head rapidly and evenly diffuses heat without burning the hair, so you can keep the dryer on the hair for longer, giving longer-lasting style. A comfortable silicone grip makes for simple, easy use.
Oops I made a mistake earlier. The shipping is just $8.50 pounds for value below $100pound, on Kent brushes shipped from UK.
But with 30% off from local distributor, it's still cheaper to get from Velvut.com. I just made payment 5mins ago and he'll courier over to my office tomorrow afternoon.
ohmy, one of my orders is this :
