I'm thinking of dyeing my hair dark brownish because I'm sick of my boring black hair :p I've never dyed my hair before so I'm worried if i use the wrong colour it'll be too bright and my teachers will force me to dye back argh.

can anyone recommend a suitable colour? i heard japanese hair dye brands are quite good
