try soaking your hair in beer .....it works for me hahaha but last week i did a color gloss at Hair Philosophy my hair suddenly looks so healthy and shiny hahaha i was told by the stylist the color gloss helps to deposit color to my dry looking hair and add shine to it .....now i don have to try beer anymore hahaha
For serum, I've been using loreal elseve smooth intense. Works for me. Usually I apply it at night and brush my hair after. The next morning I will have very smooth and managable hair.
You can also try hot oil treatment for hair once a month. You can either go to a salon or perform it at home. I've wrote a blog post on how to perform a hot oil treatment at home. You can give it a try. =]

For me I got super soft hair after changing a few things, 1. I eat a lot more fish, especially salmon because it gives me omega 3! 2. I also eat more fruit and veggies so I can get all my vitamins
When shampooing, I wash my hair and massage it in, then rinse it out really well, and condition my hair (I use Clear softcare) and then every two weeks I shampoo my hair twice to help remove build up, so I shampoo the first time then rinse and then shampoo again and get it really foamy and massage my scalp to help promote hair growth, and then I rinse, and condition just the ends of my hair, and VOILA! beautiful soft hair.
Also try not to use lots of products like hair spray, and heavy leave in conditioners, and if you have to use a blow dryer or a flat iron, try to use a heat protecting spray before you put heat on your hair, also only ever set the heat to the half setting, too hot will damage your beautiful tresses!!! <3 GOOD LUCK!
I am using Karma Shampoo Bar from LUSH.....it makes my hair smooth. My hair type is thick and dry.
You should try it......The fragrance is GOOD![]()
You can try using Tsubaki shampoo - Damage Care (white colour bottle). It is available at Watsons, but its more pricy. You can go to Venus Tampines or Red Tomato, those neighbourhood beatuy care products store, they carry them. It's a Japanese brand shampoo. Personally, I really like it alot. In the past, I get dry and frizzy flyaway hair, after using it, my hair improved.
Apart from the shampoo, conditioner is also important. Basically, some pointers to note:
1) When shampooing your hair, make sure you wash your hair well, at least a good 10 mins
2) Rinse off well and apply conditioner at your roots, and massage your hair. Leave it for at least 5 mins so that it absorb well. Don't be too eager to wash away, else the conditioner hasnt take effect and you have already wash it off.
3) Try to dry your hair with a towel. Avoid using hair dryer to blow dry your hair. Let your hair dry naturally is the best. While having said that, you should comb your hair using big teeth comb, while its still wet, to remove any tangles. When its dry, use a brush comb.
4) Do a hair mask weekly if you have very very dry hair. You can even substitute your hair mask to be your conditioner if your hair is in a really dry condition.
Hope these helps!![]()

Tip from my friend's Svenson hair consultant. You might want to try massaging warm olive oil into your hair for 15 minutes before rinsing off. If you're feeling extravagant, use mashed avocado puree instead.
Tried it and It's super moisturising! You can use the balance as a facial mask too![]()

so for the warm olive oil treatment, do you massage it into your scalp, or just at the root ends? I've only tried the hair treatment from etude house before.. quite good.. hair is soft and silky the next day.. any other brands of hair treatment which are good?
organix renewing moroccan argan oil treatment is not bad.. (: not oily and i apply it after i towel dry my hair.. its great for smoothing out frizzes when you feel your hair is dry too.
you can try the super silk shampoo and repair hair mask Damaged Hair Care Products, Anti-Frizz Hair Care, Damaged Hair Treatments, Dry Hair- Shampoo, Conditioner, Serum love the results!
Best way is to start on a fresh note with a good haircut! It will really make a difference in your hair if it has been cut well. For example, the stylist at the salon i go to (Komachi) always instinctively knows what's good for my hair. Some places that are cheaper use thinning scissors which will really roughen your hair. So a good salon really helps in maintaining it and taking care of it!
