    hi there,

also found reviews on yebber.com but on no other sites....

    any one has experience there?
the reviews all seem so glowing, very tempted...but also very skeptical.

    Hi all,

Just wanted to share with you all my recent terrible experience with Platform Hair Salon.
I decided to try out Andy Chong @ Platform Hair Salon after being recommended by my friend and reading the good reviews on yebber.

I called them up to make an appt. The lady on the line told me that Andy was fully booked that weekend so i arranged an appt for 3pm on the next weekend and told her to call me if anybody decides to cancel or shift their appt last minute on that day. It took me quite a while as it was very difficult to understand because she spoke in broken english.

Today when i went down, Andy told me that there wasnt an appt made at all. After relaying the whole telephone conversation with his counter staff to me, he told me that it was my fault for not calling the salon up and confirming with them again. He then said that it was impossible that anyone would cancel an appt with him. When i asked him why would he place a staff that cannot speak proper english or chinese in charge of the reception, he just avoided my question and keep insisting that his staff did not tell him anything and so it was my fault that i told her the wrong information.

The worst part is that he didnt even bother to arrange or make up another appointment for me. I wasted my time and effort to travel all the way down.

It was a horrible experience for me. I was so angry! :hot: How can you fault your customer when it was clearly your staff's negligence.. He snubbed me and made me feel if i didnt make an appt and was so thick skinned so as to go down to his salon and pretend that i had an appt.

I mean how great a stylist you are, with such an arrogant " i have so many customers, it doesnt matter if you cut your hair in my salon or not" attitude, i dont think you won't go anywhere far.

Anyone that wants to try this salon, think twice. :bad:
