those who went to phyto hair spa before... kindly feedback whether is it good or not.. cause i am tinking of gg there for their hairloss treatment... TIAs..
Hi cinderella85,
I personally think that the spa itself is quite good, it has the standard scalp massage, and an additional shoulder neck and hands massage.
However, I think the management is not that good. Like whenever the therapist does anything extra for the customer, they appear to get reprimanded for it. I think such lack of service orientation will spread down to their therapists sooner or later. I like the spa, but I will not be getting another package once I'm done with mine. I don't think it's worth the money. IMHO, can get similar quality ones from other places with better service.
Can let which are the alternative hair spas ? I am looking for one for treatment of dandruff.
I wouldn't mind the place if not for the aggressiveness of the consultants. They really put me off. I still have one unused treatment and some value left on the pre-paid package but dread to go back.
I won a Phyto hair spa treatment and went for it. It was a very nice experience.
However, I wouldn't recommend signing any packages with them. I did, and I regretted.
Firstly, they are extremely pushly. Before I could make up my mind about the package, they wanted to rush me into signing the package saying words like "what's there to think about? etc.. As if one consultant is not enough, a 2nd consultant joined in to "psycho"me into taking up the package. It was horrible. Ultimately though, I took it up as I wanted to prevent further hair loss.
Before I could begin my 1st treatment with them I was brought to the consultation area to examine my scalp. I thought it was purely a consultation to know my scalp condition before treatment. Never did I expect I will be subjected to another round of "sales talk". The lady who sold me the package wasn't free to attend to me so another one did. I thought this 3rd consultant was just helping out, but her purpose was to try and sell me a top-up package! And that is before I even begin the FIRST TREATMENT!
2nd treatment, the 2nd consultant attended to me this time for the consultation. I was hoping she would not try to sell me a top-up package and spoil the mood. To my disappointment, her purpose was also to try and sell me a top-up package! It is a really disgusting practise. I have already taken up their package and I just want to have my treatments in peace without sales talk. And all they are interested in is squeezing more money out of me!
They are simply sending the message out that the package they are promoting is inadequate. Each time you come for treatment, you will be subjected to more sales talk and more top-ups to make your package even better! Of course they wouldn't tell you this in the beginning.
Moreover before I signed up, the 1st consultant told me although the package I bought is the oily scalp treatment. Once my condition improves, I can opt for the anti-aging treatment which costs more, but can be thrown in the package. However, it seems like it is a empty promise as now the 2nd consultant said I can choose oily scalp or hair loss treatment, not anti-aging! And she tried to sell the the anti-aging top-up!
Conclusion: If you enjoy listening to sales-talk even after you are already a customer, this is the place to go for extreme sales talk.
