hi zest, just wondering what hair products have you tried from aveda?

I am looking at the hair treatments and conditioners... hopefully the prices are great too.

I bought a couple of hair products from them to treat frizzy hair from the pure-fume range:

thermal styling creme
anti-humectant pomade

both are pretty good at keeping curls in the hair.

All their products smell absolutely fabulous, its a real pity they've pulled out of Singapore

Aveda

For those of you who have dry hair. Aveda has improved the formula for SAP MOSS...it is specially formulated for Asian hair to help improve and give moisture to hair that is more on the dry side. Even though my hair is considered normal and not dry. But i could feel the softness and smoothness that i've never felt before.

it's supposed to smooth out frizz and split ends.
I totally love this product, i think that it's fabulous.

I heard that SAP MOSS is even cheaper here in Taipei compared to US. 1000ML costs NT$2150 = S$107.5

Don't know the price for the tube. could find out if anyone is interested.

recently got a bottle of Sap Moss to use again. i first started using this a few years ago but stopped coz i thought it made my hair rather dry.

but my recent experience was more promising. even the boy likes it alot. the downside is the price. AUD$29.90 for a tube.

tried out aveda rosemary mint shampoo and pure abundance shampoo some time ago..
they felt almost the same imo..pure abundance is supposed to make your hair thicker..

i felt rosemary was pretty drying and it tangled my hair.

however after using both of the shampoo my hair did look shiner..
overall not bad with all those minty feeling during washing..quite refreshing.

hair felt cleaner too but yah had to use abit more products cause they dont sud up that well (which is a good thing too)

I've used Aveda's Rosemary Mint Shampoo and Conditioner. Didn't really like it too as I felt it was drying.

The Energizing body cleanser is pretty ok.

Raffles The Plaza uses Aveda as its toiletries kit. Stay 1 night and you can sample it

I tried the Sap Moss range and it was great! Except that in Oz it was so expensive. Glad to know that KL carries it ...and cheaper too?

i love browsing the aveda stores and they serve tea too. i used the rosemary shampoo, scent is very refreshing but it dried out my hair. and i bought the jumbo bottle! it took me awhile to stop using it coz i like the scent. i also tried their toner and cleanser...actually so far their products don't suit me but i just love their fragrance and packaging!

hi toby
ya i agree the rosemary mint is very drying! i used it once a week as a clarifying shampoo..
if u like rosemary mint u can try their pure abundance shampoo for volumizing...it is quite similar to rosemary mint but not as drying..smells a bit minty-earthy too..
