    Me!
    Done it last mth!
I love the colour on the box description... but probably my hair is too black... didn't turn out as good... I found it rather drying too...
But, i love the so-called 3-D effect... got different shadings at different angle.

I've considered re-colouring it with the same colour... but thought i should try smth new and prob go back to it the next mth.. =P

I've just coloured my hair with HOYU CURRENSIA , a new item found in Watson's and Guardian. It's the same family of PROMINOUS, but this Currensia is catered for the younger crowd.

This time, i used a brighter colour G-10 Saffron for a more obvious change (hair is in a rather dark shade still too) .
The colour looks sooo happening on the box, but turns out rather nice... to me.. considering i want an obvious-but-not-so-brightening colour.
This is not as drying as L'oreal Feria, to me.

just a question about this new product HOYU CURRENSIA .. just saw it in Watsons too .. is the colour obvious? Or it's unlike what it is from the box ? Thanks !

    Hi Miracle,

For my hair, the colour turned different, double checked with mum too... =P
My hair is originally dark coloured even thought it's been coloured previously. Hence, i would say that the colour did not turn out as light or vibrant to that on the box display. HTHs!

i noticed that some of you are using bigen prominous, garnier nutrisse and l'oreal excellence for fashion coloring, actually these ain't suitable cos they are meant for grey hair coverage, they are meant for your mummies and grannies.... thus you find no matter how long you leave the dye on, the color just doesnt come out very light or bright~~

i am currently promoting for currensia, i am situated at J8 watsons, if you want to know more about hair coloring, can come find me, i wont force you buy anything, serious.. cos i am bored to tears working there... i'll be happie if you of you can come and find me talk... dont have to talk about hair dye....

    try kolestron

don't try doing it alone. you'll drip dye all over yourself.

i use wella koleston. its works quite well. my hair is coarse, so most formulas don't actually work at all. i need to buy the 9% peroxide thing, not the 6%one. wella is the only brand that offers such a choice.

I have super black hair and somehow, Loreal just cant do the job at all on my hair no matter what i do. The color just wont get in. Wella and Clariol are quite good IMO. Loreal works quite good for my mum and bf though, so i think it depends alot on your hair texture/type.

Tried Gatsby once after seeing their advert. and i think its going to be the last time I'm using it. It's very bad for the hair and although the color do come out nicely, my hair is badly spoilt after that. No more nice long hair. I know have very dry "grass" with terrible split ends. Can't bear to cut it off though cos it took me so long to reach this length. *sigh*

i had streaked my hair reddish brown during last year december holidays, due to me having to return to school, i had to dye it back dark brown.

the first time, dark brown became reddish brown for me. it was even more vibrant and obvious than the streaks that i had. so, i dyed my hair. again and again - for a total of 4 times. each time, my hair would be dark brown (close to black) for about one/two weeks before returning to a weird colour (reddish brown, orangey brown etc) now, it's settled down to a brown colour but there are still very obvious red pigments in my hair when i step out into the sun.

six months! and my hair's still like that. i have no idea what is wrong with it. i've DIYed my hair twice and went to a salon to do it twice. are there any DIY brands to reccommend?

bigen! it turned my hair BLACK... everybody got a shock when they saw how black it was (and i bought "dark brown" instead of "black")

after awhile, it does fade, but it wasn't obvious & was mostly at the ends (never got caught by the discipline master! )

yikes! black! i cannot take black colour for my hair, 'cause it would look really harsh on me. i dyed it ebony black during one of my tries and i felt so miserable after that! i couldnt wait for my hair to turn into some weird colour again just so the black would be gone.

i'm such a bother right! but i'm hoping to find a blackish-brown colour. or a brownish-black colour. or a very very dark brown.

(im babbling! it must be the time!)

do a strand test so you'll be prepared at how dark it becomes and avoid dark brown or black otherwise, i'm not too sure what other brands there are that are as effective. ultimately, i believe all hair dye would fade

oh, btw did you bleach it? if you did, it'd probably have to wait till it grows out i think.
