    Default Twister @ Jurong Point

went there today.... at the NEW jurong point....
i dun used to visit saloon much cost i dun usually spend much on my hair.... but now that my hair is almost to my waist i thought to perhaps pamper it a little...
they are having opening promotion... so i had a trim, dye my hair back to a healthier looking dark dark brown, a protein treatment and a scalp treatment for $189....
the stylist was Tim Teo.... thought he is really nice and thoughtful.... he asks before he does anything and gives suggestions yet not pushy....
will really hope to go there more regular to do treatment since my hair is really dying... but its really hard cos i'm a SAHM of two.....
    no money and no time

Sigh. Speaking of the new salon. Not about " Twister" I went to. I tried " Russell" salon at the new JP2. Alittle regretful. Dont try the hair stylist name start with D**. I dont think she is quite creative and skillful in hair cutting skill. Though she did scalp analysis for me since the salon is carrying the Loreal K. products. She only suggested 2 types of hair style for me. Bob or layered abit. That's all. I have told her that I have tried the suggested hair style. Total disappointment when she cut my hair which I think I can go HDB salon cut better.

I think I saw it having some 20 bucks cut and blow opening special. Er it's either cut and blow or wash and blow. I think it's the former but I may be wrong as I wasn't paying attention to the sign. Will update if I see it again.

    Default Twister @ Jurong Point

Just came back from haircut with them now they having promo.. $20.90 for leading hairstylist.. not bad.. though I thought my hairdresser Sean did not cut too much maybe afraid I scold him..haha he cut the back of my hair pretty nice shape. A v like I wanted.. and free hair massage pretty good.. and friendly.. If u dun mind paying more like additional 5 to 10 bucks can get senior hairstylist or director cut ba.. normally is 25.90 for leading hairstylist so now they having $5 off for all cuts..

Didnt dare try the color and stuff cos all in a bit ex.. 189 or something.. but I think the haircut $20.90 quite worth it .. and somemore Shuan Chen Monsoon spectacle shop beside only HAHA i mange to have eye candy as well

Maybe those who need haircut can go try while now still got promo

Yup it's still on. It's beside this optical shop (I think it's under monsoon as well). Not sure if it's good though.

the $20.90 promotion is still on and it's really good for this price!! the hair stylist i had was Nicholas and he did a great job to my hair!! although he was joking that my hair was so thick that he should times 3 the price.
anyone who wants a cheap and nice haircut should try this salon!

Hi.. I have similar experience like you at Russell. Mine was cut by a guy, think he is from China. He cut hair according to what he likes not what the customer likes. I requested for him to cut my fringe and side shorter but he refuse. Say it will not look nice. I show him a picture in the magazine and requested him to cut according to that. He refused again saying not nice. However, I have cut that hairstyle previously and it look nice on me. The hairstyle he cut for me was a disaster. My family, my colleagues and another salon hair stylist all comment that it is very messy and not nice.

In the end, after 2 weeks of endurance, I finally cut my hair at Twister today. The end results is good and I like it. My family also say it is nice.

Lesson learn- should have go to Twister in the beginning. Price is cheaper than Russell. Service also better. Skills also better. Most importantly, the stylist listen to your views and advise accordingly.

Hmm thinking of doing colouring since there's a promotion but is Twister good for hair dye? Or other salons under Monsoon better?
