I don't want to sms someone and ask for prices. I'm trying to ask if anyone bought and what price they bought it at. Most people doing sales are not very transparent. They want people to pm them or sms them so that they no need to put up a standard price. That is so as to let them earn more depending on how much individual customers haggle.

Not saying that is wrong, sales is like that. But as a consumer I'm just protecting my own interests.

i think the guy tried to sell me at $170 and said it was on offer for that weekend only. of cos i didn buy. also read that some ppl bought for $150. seeing their sales tactic, there's no fixed price.

Exactly. I was told $160. Think that's the most common price they use to sell. The SA told me the promotion was exclusively for that day only. When I said I'd think about it first, her attitude change was drastic. So now I know, the price varies at different places.

i cut my hair to a bob, just touching my shoulders length. so i need a really skinny one. .. but dono which brands to look for in sg :S

does thsi come in 1/2" or 3/4 "?

yea.. me too! but you took the 1st step. so i "followed" haha. if im know wrong, i think i saw around 1 or 2 new users where most, if not all, of their posts are raves about this curler/straightener. cant remember their nicks... :S but i kept my mouth shut, cus i cant be sure. haha. i thought i was the only one who felt that way. :p

About the sales price, I think you guys are right. The longer you wait and the more reluctant you are, the more the price drops. My friend got her pink one for $150 and the guy offered me $140 iirc cuz I was super reluctant to buy the black with pink plates cuz I really, REALLY wanted the pink colour one. And like the others, he told me that the price was for that night only. Special promo on a weeknight? Yeah riiiiiiiiiight.

OOT: okie any other alternative to get pink straightener? I don't like self-advertisements. I personally think that somebody is not "chatting and sharing" in the forum but trying to up his/her sales. A forum is to chat and share definitely. But I don't see how you are chatting and sharing if you are a seller and providing contacts but stating that its "your friend".
