Hi birthday_flame,Originally posted by birthday_flame
i am currently taking a supplement called Cyctine B6 from a french pharmceutical company named Bailleul. and it works! my hair seems more lively now and they are dropping less.
before, i have hair loss problem too cos i was tying my hair too tight and using a lot of gel/mousse/spray. now its better cos i cut it short, but i was alarmed at the rate it was falling, even more when my parting became very wide![]()
also, my friend told me a hair tonic from Watson's, named Bioinn or something is good too. her pillow used to be covered with lots of hair when she wakes up in the morning, but it is better now cos she just sees a couple of strands. hth!
Where is Cyctine B6 available?
thanks!
hi sydney, i bought it through someone else in France last year, don't think its available here? there are a lot of pharmacies over there which sells this.
anyone tried effective hairloss treatment at those professional hair centres or salon???
Have gone for a consult at Philip Kingsley before, too expensive, I think a whole course for 6 months is $5000.
I haven't seen this here yet. Will have a look at the various pharmacies though.
I read somewhere that minoxidil is the only chemical which is proven to halt hair loss and promote hair growth. Was wondering if anyone has tried this? It comes in a hair tonic form, there's a couple of brands, Regaine and Neoxidil. There's 2% and 5% concentration.
i noticed that most girls even v young ones have 'receding' parting too..
according to my friends we must change our parting every year to prevent balding..i think it is quite true coz we girls always tend to comb hair so often that more hair will drop from the parting side

help!
ever since my hair has grown longer, like 6 inches below shoulder, i've been dropping more and more hair. this happens particularly only when i have long hair. when i had short hair, my hair doesnt drop so much. i've been using hair tonic but it doesnt help...![]()
hairloss is inevitable when u have long hair
i recommend going for regular trims, leave in conditioners and errr hair tonic helps?
the food you eat is also a big factor![]()
Bloodybell: i agree with u.
I myself also experience such problems....when i was in centre parting a year back...my hair is like soo flat...the parting is sooo obvious....then i changed to my side parting now....after close to a year or so....now i seen my hair like lesser near the parting.... at 1st it was not so serious....now seems like my hair's balding...:piss: haha!! hmm maybe not so serious.....just exagerating....
i've tried conditioners and tonics but they don't seem to help... so is it really my diet???![]()
i also change my parting regularly, cos the parting line you always part will actually thin after some time. so actually, changing parting is applicable to all, regardless if you drop too much hair or not.![]()
I do have a little problem with hair loss too. But i realise that the length of the hair is one factor causing hair loss. Once i got it maintain at a certain length, it improves alot. But my hair stylist did mention that there a product called "Regaine" something like this if i did not remember wrongly. Sold in pharmacy, helpful in preventing hair loss.
Hi everyone! I'm quite crazy about my hair and I spent most of my time researching on hair loss.. it's so fustrating seeing them on my bedroom floor..Originally posted by sydney

From what i read, minoxidil will cause other unwanted hairs to growth like facial hair.. but not all woman will experience it.
Personally, I'm quite afraid to use those off the shelves products.
I've tried blending my own aromatherapy hairloss oil. Quite good, but expensive. I'm currently using Emu oil.. heard it's good..
will update!
hi i'm currently using Garnier Neril hair tonic. been using it for about 2 weeks, and i've noticed a difference. i'm dropping lesser hair and my hair is now more healthy and not as dry as before.![]()
I suddenly remembered what i need to ask from the experts here!
Is there any correct way of massaging the hair tonics into the scalp?
Hairs seems to fall into my sink everytime i massage. I'm actually quite reluctant to massage even thou i know it's good.
How do u massage your scalp??
Help?? Thanks A Million!!!![]()
