Best hair salon at Far east plaza

Just my thoughts of Leng and Team at far east plaza.

Their rebonding might be good for some but I would highly discourage their digital perming.

I have relatively ok wavy hair and after sitting through an agonising 4 and a half hours -the end result = no difference.

The curls didn't even turn out and mind you, I paid $165 for it.

What a total waste of my money and time. I must say, this is the third time I've gone for perming (not at Leng and team ofcourse) and this is the one and only time it didn't turn out.

For those still keen and going there, I might advise to go on a weekday instead as it is relatively crowded on weekends and you'd find that the hairdresser often does a rush job, sometimes juggling 3 customers at the same time. Also, if you can't speak mandarin, get a translator.

My friend has been going to Charme salon for years and I see that her perm and rebonding over the years ...are all pretty and lasting.

I visit X'clusive salon @ FEP Level 5 as my regular stylist Jaslyn is there. Been following her for many years & we'll go whichever salon she hopped to coz I really like her professionalism & she's very meticulous in her work. So I've not let another stylist touched my wild & difficult to manage hair after I found Jaslyn.

I introduced my bf to her years back & like me he has looked upon her as his regular stylist too.

I go to Joanne Wee at Hair Couture .Now she owns her own salon at Far East Plaza,#02-19.She's my stylist for years from Reds hair salon at Takashimaya.I like the way she cuts and she is very creative and skillful in her work.I enjoyed her great service.Most important,she never uses a thinning scissors to thin my hair.She told me she "texturize" my hair only using scissors.My hair always grew out nicely even after 2 to 3 mths after the cut.Quite suprised that she left Reds cos i remember she mention she had been working there for more than 10 years.But thank god,i found her.The highlight and color she did for me was always complemented by my customers.She got a Facebook and u can find her contacts from there.

Most important,Joanne never hard push me to do unecessary hair services n i'm always comfortable with her. It's hard to get to see her unless you make advance booking with her.

Am intending to rebond my hair for upcoming prom
Yet I'm not sure to choose between Clover/Klearcut/Maison. Any recommendations?
Is the Bodily straight from clover more natural looking than soft rebonding? :o

Purchase a groupon $55 for rebonding, the girl with short hair recommend to top up another $70 for better result.
Unfortunately after 3 times of washing, the curly hair besides my ear and behind come back as before it do rebonding.

I went back to the shop, the girl said it was because I didin't blow after washed. I tried to explain to her that I have done few times of
rebonding and never encounter such problems. Her reply is each time result will be different and refuse to touch up at my curly part.This is ridiculous
that rebonding hair have to blow after each time you wash.

I paid for $125 and end up get this lousy result, would not go back to this shop again.

I only go to fareast to have my hair rebonding in hair sense gallery salon. I dont have any complains because they always do great job with my hair. I always go with Valerie.

I should have read these posts earlier. I had the exact same BAD experience. Digital perm turn out crappy. I went back to them but they refuse to do it again for me saying the curls are still there and I insisted it was only waves, not curls. The hairdresser was Leona. Damn inexperience. Some more before she started, I specifically told her that my hair need longer with the lotion cos it doesn't curl that easily and yet she took the curlers out and wash after about 30mins. They normally put a stabilizer cream after removing curlers and that is when if the stylist is experienced, will be able to style it such that the curls will look nice. Obviously, she lacks that. Agree that nobody should go there for digital perm. They started a Groupon deal so cotters, please refrain from this salon if you can. There's many others in FEP to choose from. No need to put up with such service.

i did mine at other salon the result is good n affordable my stylist told me to use dryer after wash too
thats to make sure the hair cuticle close and my hair look shine n smooth n it can help maintain the straightness

Maybe is you dun kw how to style after wash... Perm hair not easy to take care...
I perm my hair before but end up I go to do rebond again because I lazy to set it everyday.
So I think not only the stylists mistake. They are the professional in hair and not you.
If you want to seek the one to do your hair then you must believe their professional. Or you can be a hairstylist and do urself.

im a regular at leng and team for quite some time..

i done their perming twice , and is very lasting...

i also done numerous hair colouring with them ..

i think so far so good eh .. their cutting skill is good ..
especially the boss (but its quite expensive IMO)

maybe because is a coupon thing thus they use a cheaper cream ?
cuz i never believe in these online coupon thing , the service they give was like equivalent to the price you pay for...
