    Hi
Yes Suncreen for hair is very important. I use Kerastase as well. I did try other products but Kerastase till date has worked best for me especially if you have coloured hair. Also overexposure to the sun can cause greying

Essentially, the sun tends to open the follicles of the hair. This exposes the inner layer of the hair which has the colour. onverexposure of the sun to the colour causes the colour to fade.

Other than this details that Preciousia is absolutely correct about all her details

But interestingly, its not only the sun that we need to be worried about.

Irrespective of what product you use, The hair needs a regime to ensurethat it is in the best condition ever. A 3 step mantra is something that we shoudl always remember to follow:

    1- Protect
Protect your hair, prevent dryness and preserve color radiance. YOu can spray a light suncreen spray if you have thin hair or apply a sunscreen creme protector if you have think hair.

    2- Repair
Nurture and restore softness to your hair. This includes using a good shampoo ( separate for coloured hair) and also applying Masque to ensure that the hair restores its lustre and shine and colour radiance.

    3- Enhance
Repair UV damage, protect against color fade and sooth sunburned scalps nightly. I"m not sure which are the brands that have this product but if you know please tell me. My sister got me the, "Bain Apres Soleil" by Kerastase from the US. YOu just spray some on dry or towel dried hair before sleeping. I"m not sure if you get it in Singapore.

I think so too... chemical overload is not good for hair. Makes it limp and greasy.
