Default Fizzy Hair due to Static Electricity

I am not sure whether I can explain myself clearly. I have permed hair and usually its quite manageable with just curling lotion and leave-on conditioner. But when I went to Perth in their winter, my hair just went crazy!!!! its not dry or anything. It just turn BIG and my colleague think its due to static electricity. I really dun know what to do but to tie them while I am there. I will be going there again next month (winter again@!!!!!). Is there anything I can put on my hair to prevent myself from looking like Mr McDonald???

oh!! that's because the air is much much drier when it's winter. you'll need to moisturise your hair more throughly (something a little richer than what you use here) and apply a good moisturising styling product to "weigh" the hair down so it doesn't "fluff" up again. also, use a wooden comb (plastic combs makes the hair more static) when you comb out your hair after washing. carry a fabric softener sheet in your purse and use it to "wipe" your hair down will also reduce static when you're outdoors. hths

I have frizzy hair too. Actually my hair is flat on top and frizzy at the bottom. It is very hard for me to tame those ends. I just bought the Kao Essential Conditioner Pump Rich Premier from prettyandcute.com. It has a fruity, guava smell. After I used it, it kinda tame my frizz a bit, and my hair feels much smoother.
