Where are you currently going for haircuts and other services? (do list down the location and tel no if you can)
Action hair salon @ Paragon, u wouldnt want to go there anymore after u hear my complains

How would you rate your hair stylist on a scale of 10?
Sucks, wont rate at all now, just dont go back anymore will do

How much does it cost for a cut?
The guy who did my hair is the stylist director who won several awards before. His hair cut is $80+ :pissed:

How often do you go for a cut/trim/other hair services
1-2 months, but not to there anymore
Gee Jemay! I did my hair there 3 weeks ago too! The L'oreal treatment did nothin for me. The lady who cut my hair (Dawn) was quite good and did a partial fringe for me as well. I felt quite awkward in it at frist but now it's looking better. My friends say this hairstyle nicer than the previous one.

I might go back for a cut, but I'll take the O3 treatment at Jean Yip anytime!

    Default pre natal vitamins

    brenda,
like kirei i also got my pre natal vitamins from kkh.
forgot the names and can't find the bottles now.
perhaps ask the pharmacist @ guardian or unity?

kkh pharmacy is open only during office hours, but they have these machines inside the lobby of the specialist clinics that sells these vitamins when you slot in coins & small bills (just like those cold drink machines).

but due to the SARS outbreak I do not recommend you going to kkh nowadays.
try guardian or unity pharmacies instead.

I hairdresser-hop.. go to karmen at di summer's salon at far east plaza if i just need a trim before i permed my hair. i like the simple and cheap hair cuts she gives. i permed my hair in feb and has not cut it yet but elly at kimage funan cut, permed and coloured my hair really really nicely

How would you rate your hair stylist on a scale of 10?
    karmen - 7/10
    elly - 7/10

How much does it cost for a cut?
    karmen - less than $20
elly - not sure as mine was a package deal

How often do you go for a cut/trim/other hair services?
very very seldom. i hate to trim my hair as it takes so long to grow, i avoid treatments as i don't have the cash.

Last 2 hair visits- 1st was early this year: cheap rebonding promo at Kimage Funan under graduate student Erwin, $100, including power mask. Very good service, very careful almost painstaking- 1st time in my life offered a TIP. Was rejected haha, sweet boy. Good results unfortunately I didn't maintain (I often skip conditioner in my daily shampoo).

About a month back, was tired of frizzy ends, snipped off the ends- thinned it and felt fresher losing alot of volume. Pleased with haircut, about $25, another promo at Shunji in Tampines Mall. Long wait but they were very apologetic.

    Hello!

This may sound silly but do you actually still remember how was this Erwin like? I just went down for a cut at the FUnan branch and was served by Erwin/Edwin (I didnt't quite catch his name as we couldn't communicate very well ).

It's queer though cos this stylist was under the professional department but yeah I do admit, he is very attentive. Doesn't rush when he is at work and this is the FIRST time somebody ever washed my hair so gently it felt so good haha!

Erm i think i am an odd one out here! I don't spend lots on my hair esp hair cut. $35 is all im willing to pay unless i see a major difference but definately less than 50bucks. All my haircuts are $30+, only perm is 200 and coloring is 100+. I used to go to REDS Tampines for Clara. Then she went MIA for awhile after marriage so i visited Sunny at Clissor whose great with cut and coloring jobs. After clara's back in snipping action, i went back to her for haircut from less than $35. I have never done any major hair treatment before too.

hey jemay, do tell more about the haircut! i'm always interested in trying new stylists. such a fickleminded unfaithful customer i am...

for those willing to splurge, i'd suggest eugene from Ginrich at Heeren. he's seriously fantastic! v v v experienced and wellknown in fashion circles.

For Le Salon, I'd definitely recommend Sybil if you're looking for a hair technician. Anthony and Sybil make an unbeatable combination!

like lovedust, i've never thought of spending more than $50 on haircut. all my dye jobs are DIY. i do wonder what an expensive hair cut would do though. maybe in a few months time when it's time for another trim.
