Siglap Colour Bar is near my house. I'm thinking of going to Gene after all your raves! In an earlier post someone mentioned he doesn't speak much English...I don't speak Mandarin, will it be a problem? Is he good with long slightly wavy hair?

he speaks some english. not a lot but i guess enough to get your message through. i believe he is malaysian so perhaps you can try your luck with malay if you can speak that.

i really like his hair cut more and more...cos it's really well-cut and defined...

I wish I can add more colour but problem is my hair cannot be tampered with chemically anymore la.

Yup Heavenly highlights was $75 (it may be cheaper can check with him), base colour was $60 i think.

oblivion: Creative highlights means that the highlights will be at the surface, not the whole head.

heavenlyn: Usually such promo is only applicable for the Cardholder .... 'technically'..., but if your BF is there to sign for the transaction or you are using Supp Card. I am sure it is fine.

Btw, when I called HV branch, they told me OUB Credit Cardholders will enjoy the same perks as the CitiBank Promo. But I cannot find the 'promo details from UOB Bank ... anyone have the latest UOB Promo Brochure can pls look it up if its true?

went color bar at marine parade central with my SO and another 2 friends..was very happy with the end results..i would recommend Ben..i reckon he is the most senior around on that day..simply mesmerized by the way he cut my hair and his voice..hehehe..

the $35 colour promotion is valid for all payment methods..unless u are taking the creative hightlights, u will have to pay by citibank card. my colleague called the one at HV and was told that there is a same promotion for UOB card as well. got my hair cut at $38 including a free O2 treatment.

i was so sad over past 2 days, i went to cut my hair because it's badly damaged due to my last spa perm which done 1 year ago. i was really struggler for long time to cut it because the spa perm hair is really suits me very well (waist length which i kept for 4 years already).
But i intend to get a new image and thinking to get a healthier hair so i went down to the saloon which located at Eunos Mrt there, 'Celebrate Hair Saloon' , Tanya (the lady boss) said my hair was badly damaged and need to cut it off and she recommended me to cut and perm so i take her advise to do so...
Guess what.... the outcome was horrific, totally like aunty look and the 2 sides of my hair unbalance, i asked her y like tht, she said dun do it in one day she'll trim it 1 week later, as she said i can't do perming n colouring in one day. Cotters can u all bear v ugly image for a week? i doubt!!
These 2 days i really very very sad n cried whenever i face mirror.
Until i saw this thread which posted by Pinkedgloss, i decided to give it a try.. went down today n looked for Gene, what i can say is he's very patience and give me a lot of good ideas wht to do to my aunty look hair...
