I'm surprised that there's no thread on this hair salon - I did a search.
I've patronised this salon for the past 3 years and found their services to beoverall. Prices are cheap too, compared to outside prices. Their best services are dye, perms, treatments etc but do NOT cut your hair there. They cannot cut properly and nicely. Most of their services are flat rates so if you've got long hair, it's best for value.

I've only done hair treatments there at $40 for my long hair. It's flat rate and has been $40 from 3 years ago. My gf did her hair colour + rebonding there and the effects were fantastic! No spoilt or frizzy hair. Recently, she permed her hair and looks fab too.
The 2nd time I went, I brought 3 gfs along with me and all of us did hair treatments. All of us left feeling like stars. The lady boss also gave each of us a $18 hair spray free. But subsequently, no more free gifts.![]()
Up till now, everyone I've intro-ed are still patronising Papilio and they also brought friends.

Did I mention that last time there were 2 cute guys working and I always go and :wow: at them? But they left.

All of them are also very good at massaging while shampoo-ing - I like!!![]()
Anyway, they've expanded and the new section is very nicely and tastefully decorated and there's even flat screen TVs mounted on the wall for your viewing pleasure while you perm or rebond your hair etc. :wow:
Make an appointment before going, and be prepared to wait. I usually wait about 25-40 mins before they actually start working on me.![]()

Blk 637 Veerasamy Road #02-115.
i went to this salon at verasamy rd for a long time too, i really like their service and price there previously! but recently, i switch to other salon, because i find their service there have dropped alot! now they hire alot of new or inexperienced stlylist whom i feel attitude is quite bad. but the price is indeed affordable compared to those other salons.
just my 2cents worth. hee.![]()
Yup yup, i agree their flat rate is worthwhileespecially so for looong hair. Generally, i find their services prompt and good; although they keep you wait past your appointment time sometimes, they make it up with their polite service afterwards. I did rebonding 3 or 4 times there, of course only a satisfied customer will be a repeat customer.
I heard quite a number of comments from friends not to go there for haircut. Surprisingly i was quite impressed with one of the trims i had after rebonding. Nice, I like it. I guess it depends on who you're getting and your indivdual preference.
Any specific recommended hairstylist to look for when we go there? thinking of going there for a treatment since it costs only $40.
anybody tried the rebonding there?
is it good? can give reviews please..? thanks
have done my rebonding there few times, they only charge $120 even for shoulder length hair, short hair for abt $90, if i can rem correctly.
but the prob is that they can have so many ppl managing your hair! one person did this part then the 2nd person will take over..![]()
i think the lady named bibi is the most senior there...she has just given birth, not sure if she's back to work..
I love this saloon . . all my hair cuts, colour and rebonding are done there and the effects are. . The owner of the saloon, Mary is very experienced and friendly . .
if i have brastrap-length hair, how much do you reckon they charge for rebonding?
Erm. . i think it should cost 120 bucks . . or u can call their contacts to consult them.![]()
I went there 2 years ago and done coloring and rebonding twice there. The first time was good, but the second would have been good if without the hair cut. I think was done by the lady boss. She was basically grabbing a tiny bunch of hair and snapping it across (really snapping straight across!!!), no layering etc. Plus she wasn't 100% concentrating on my hair! Ended up my hair looks like having went thru a "steps" cut. You can basically see the neat steps at the backAfter that I switch to other salons, mainly because the location is rather out of place if you don't drive.
Don't let the lady boss cuts your hair.

Hey is Papilio really *** good? Intend to change a hair stylist..Previously went to Reds @ TM After reading the forum, i intend to try Papilio ..Any recommendation from those who hv tried, who shld i look for cutting , colouring & highlighting ? BIBI OR HENRY? WHO IS GOOD?
10s..
i think it depends on what kind of hairstyle you want. if you're dare for a change, you can try henry. was there doing my colouring and saw him cutting a few persons hair. he will usually recommend something different for them.
i like ryan. though he only did the treatment for me, find him very thoughtful.
