Hi, anyone using this brand of botanical hair products, any good?
''Our research has resulted in the creation of innovative hair care treatments that are highly concentrated in plant-based active ingredients, which are extremely effective in treating problem hair and protecting hair “capital”.
In order to limit the use of preservatives, The PHYTO products are packaged in Glass, metal or aluminum containers.''
Sounds really good...
my sis was using this brand before for her oily scalp. It was recommended by her fren. According to her, it was good as in her hair becomes less oily but then i **** she only use one bottle. She said it was expensive for her to continue using. But overall she **** this shampoo its not bad. Worst part abt this shampoo its the packaging, it is glass bootle and she broke it the first time she used it. Imgaine how heartbroken she became and promptly bought the sec one. So its advisable to to repackage it in a plastic bootle if you wan to use it.
I'm using the Phyto anti-hairloss shampoo now. It worked in the begining cos there was significantly less hair dropping out during shampooing. However, it doesn't seem to be as effective anymore. Maybe because it targets oily scalp conditions, it is also very drying on the hair. I have oily scalp and dry ends, and now while my scalp is ok, the rest of my hair is very dry. Sigh....
I will stop using this once it has finished. Will try other anti-hairless shampoo brands and see how.
Has anyone been to the Phyto hair spa at Wheelock level 5? (opposite Institute Clarins) I am scheduled to go for one of their treatments soon, tailored to my hair needs.
I rebonded my hair again for the 3rd time last week. Used the heavy Shiseido cream during rebonding. After rebonding, I’ve been using my usual Charles Worthington shampoo and conditioner.
The Phyto hair spa has machines where your scalp is examined through a hand-held apparatus and you can see the state of your scalp on the LCD screen. According to my diagnosis, I have oily scalp which can cause hair loss in the long run. I was shocked as I thought my hair was dry so I’ve always used very rich shampoo and conditioners!
the phyto hair spa sounds good, how much is it? please let us know if its good. thanks!
Sure will let you know if it's good. each treatment is about $100 to $150 but they have package deals. they told me unlike all other hair spas eg Mahogany, Capello, which only pamper and relax you, theirs have specific treatment properties that effectively treat all kinds of scalp problems, like hair loss, dandruff, oily scalp, etc.
the phyto "sensitive" scalp shampoo isn't great.. my hair is still oily... i just bought pregaine, it says on the bottle that its suppose to be used in conjuction with regaine.. this pregaine shampoo also has minoxidil (sp?).. hope it's good..
I just went down to their store at tiong bahru road area. They are having a 50% sale off phyto products!!! I bought a hair balm as a leave in conditioner. Wish me luck please.. they analysed my hair. apparently my scalp is dry and my hair is frizzy coz out of one pore, i have 4 hair roots!!!!! faintz..
i bought a neck cream from their other brand which was also having a 50% discount also. it was $130!! i saved $65!!! its not bad. bottle jus a little small though. well i must save my neck!!!
Have asked the lady about the glass bottle packaging. She suggested using rubber bands around the bottles to prevent slipping. Mentioned the glass was used instead of plastic to prevent too much preservatives being used in the shampoo. hmm quite thoughtful.
There are 50% discount?
Is it for all phyto product? Any contact number?
What is the address?
TIA
oh its near tiong bahru road. at eng soon mansion. first shop on the first floor. quite easy to recognise coz the products very obvious. you can try calling 62788456.
i have the "intelligent" shampoo for sensitive hair. i agree that it isn't very effective for oily scalps. plus the consistency of this is very watery and it doesn't foam up easily. (i find it easier to wash my hair if there's foam) won't be buying another bottle when i finish this one, thankfully i seem to use a lot each go.
Is the "intelligent" shampoo the Phytoprogenium you're talking about? Yeah I agree it's not that excellent in controlling my scalp.. I switched to Phytocedrat which works so much better for my oily scalp. I'm also using Phytobaume conditioner, Phyto 9, and Phytolisse.. LOLLL... I'm a sucker for their products. But out of all their products which I've tried I think Phyto 9 is the best. Makes my hair so soft!!!!!! I think if you're new to this brand and not sure what to get, get Phyto 9 to try. Haha.. There's another one Phyto 7 which did nothing for my hair. Phyto 9 is heaps and bounds better!
if the shampoo is for sensitive scalp, of coz it help with the oiliness. used the wrong shampoo. since it's organic, think it should be gd for ur hair n scalp. tho i never used before. but i heard the items for womens thinning hair are quite gd. my friend who used it actually feel she lose lesser hair and the hair seems more. anyone who use it before?
okie i have used the phyto hair balm for about 3 - 4 times. it is okay. Prior to that, I have used vidal sasson, pantene, loreal, formulas, sala by kanebo..yes.. my hair very frizzy..
And i think this blue serum thing i read in a thread. so far the blue serum is the best but very hard to buy, i have to take cab all the way to jurong east .. my god. okie. anyway sorry i deviated.
The balm is okay. my hair is not as frizzy. not too heavy. it looks and feels natural. so i guess it is not the type to make you go "wow!!!" but quite good to use daily. i find that i have to squeeze a lot of it to cover my hair though. like not enough in one bottle for me to use one month.. hiaz... but then i do have a lot of hair.. so. oh well.![]()
