which salon has it?
and what are the prices?
Few salons on singapore offers hair extension. Prices starts from around $800 to 2K depending on the thickness and length of hair. The downside of doing hair extension is that it really hurts big time (while its being done) and you have to be super gentle while washing/ brushing. Truly not worth the effort to maintain it IMO.![]()

With the pain & the trouble of up-keeping it, its certainly not worth it!
i thought we could do like a few strands only?
and cost around $8 to $15 for one strand?
babyluv, jean yip does it for $10/strand! & in 3months, you have to get it un-done by the stylist. or re-do the extensions. & there is a minimun number of strand you *must* do...some S$200 worth i think!
I have done this b4. It's 15 per strand. =) At gorgeous.

@gorgeous. no min amount of strands. I did 2 only. =)
Oh, I didnt know you could do hair extensions by strands, the one I mentioned is literally extending the length of the entire head of hair.![]()
Just curious, when you girls do hair extension for a few strands of hair, is it literally strand? Or do you mean locks of hair? If you extend the length of a few locks/strands of hair, then wouldn't it leave the remaining hair shorter than that few locks/strands?
hey chris,
you can definitely choose to do just one or two locks of hair extensions. most people do it purely for fun, and in funky colors.
couple of years ago i had two in my hair near my fringe - in shocking blue and bright purple no less. you can imagine the looks i got from my lecturers back then, so i had to pin it up and hide it.
iirc i did it at a hair salon on the 3rd floor of FEP, near the original 77th street shop. can't remember the name off hand. was about $10 per strand i think.
it was fun.you don't really 'extend' the hair per se, more like one lock of hair is 'woven and glued' at the roots with some of your own hair so it appears to be 'growing' from your scalp. it may or may not be noticeably longer, depending on your preference.
Oh...those funky coloured ones!! Thanks for enlightening.![]()
