Allen is v nice and friendly. Initially, I gave him a low budget but he told me honestly that for my hair volume, I need at least 380-400 strands to look natural. I was a bit comprehensive with the price, so he said to let me try 350 first and decide later if I want to add more. After a while, I decided to get 400 strands and he gave me some additional ones to make it look more natural. Initially after done, I felt that the top looks thick (my natural hair) after paying. Then he very willingly added more on top for me FOC. He said that I will feel more tugging on the scalp if placed higher, but I don't mind coz the end result is much better. The whole process doing the extension is painless and enjoyable because we were chatting throughout the process (but after like 2hrs, I think both of us are just tired of talking so he just concentrated on the braiding but it don't feel awkward at all - just 2 of us in the salon).

After that, he knew it was my virgin extension, he taught me how to comb, tye and manage the curls he did on the extensions. He said that the hair can be dye but he did cautioned that some salons may not get "even" color on the extensions and natural hair. :good:

My first day still feels unnatural coz I had short hair for about 1/2 - 3/4 yr alr. Hope I can feel more natural after a few days/weeks. :shy:

p.s: Pls be kind. Do not comment on my ugly looks without makeup. I forgot to take a before photo before I did the extension today.
Hey Eleven, thanks for your recommendations of Hair n lashes carnival. After reading the past posting, I was very impressed by your hair extensions done. I had my extensions at H & L carnival done recently. I also went to the other 2 shops mentioned here in this forum to check out their hair too, anyway, all are in Far east plaza. Finally I was totally convince to do H & L carnival, as I manage to find the most suitable and right hair color(blonde) and texture similar to my own hair. Alan, the owner explained that only fine Indian hair can be made into blonde hair extensions. My hair is naturally blonde and the texture is much more fine than asian hair.

My original hair style was a bit like yours, and in the same length. He managed to blend the hair extensions and my own hair very well, and look seamless. He recommended me to go for the big wavy curls as it will blend very well with my own hair. Accordingly to him, the curl hair and the blonde hair extensions were permed and dye by himself. That's the reason why he manage to achieve that excellent quality, really impresses me.

    My ratings:
texture of hair: 10/10 (very fine hand feel, compared to other shops that i went)
Color of hair: 9/10 (natural blonde color)
service attitude:9/10 (explain the process to me)
skills : 10/10 (braids seem to be well kept)

Hope you gals will like my new hair style!

it seems like angelxin is getting lousier and lousier.. First time I did the hair extensions was at city plaza early this year.. it seemed quite good, however, I went to the new branch at chinatown, the hair looks damn fake!! I requested for straight hair, they told me it's real human hair, however, when I got home and washed my hair, the whole ******* hair curled up.. they told me it's 100% real hair, in the end what i get was 100% real human hair with synthetic hair. WTF!! called up the lady boss, and she apparently said that I didn't take good care of it, which i certainly did!! using lots of conditioner every time I wash my hair, and using leave-on conditioner when i blow dry my hair.. She didn't want to give a refund and put the blame on me.. I'm certainly NOT going back to angelxin anymore!!

Can anyone tell me if Milly's good?

    Default Hair Extensions Bangkok

    Hello Ladies x

For anyone who was asking about hair extensions in Bangkok, I had mine done a few weeks ago at a Salon Called Zenred

Quite a nice posh Salon with a really hot stylists that speaks great English, her name was Nang, she has Hair that is divine too, seriously she represents hair in all its glory!

My hair extensions were Remy 100% and great quality, i had them keratin bonded too (not the cheap khaosarn road glues here)
I wanted to pay extra and really have something that i wouldnt regret or that would require hours of looking after.

They do need a brush once a day and a treatment every few weeks, but im happy!

Ive attached a pic of them after they were done in the salon

I paid i think 200usd for mine, blonde does cost more - What was special about these was they matched the colour to my hair. they were not factory made but actually customized to match my own colour., Impressive i thought..

By the way salon is called Zenred right?
This looks like it could be a great place for some quality hair extensions, im hoping to go over there soon.

I have emailed them and checked their website - seems quite reasonable and very professional - here is a video i found too.

Yesterday, i went to Far East Plaza to check out the various promotions from all the different shops. Saw that Milly's is having the promotion for Hair Extension

    100 free 100 strands & 100 free 150 strands.

Have another tried the 150 strands promotion?

    Do it means that i pay $100, I get 200 strands? or i pay $100, I get 250 strands?
