I strongly recommend this shampoo from Ekinos, you can get it from Tresses at Raffles City, it is really very effective. When my scalp is itchy from using certain styling products, one wash and I no longer feel itchy.
I gave it to my friend to try, she has dandruff problem and after a few washes, I see no dandruff on her black color clothings anymore.
It works for my father who has dandruff problem too.![]()
thanks CaramelGirl. may i know whats the difference b/w the blue and yellow bottle...?
anyone tried Sebamed Anti-Dandruff Shampoo? is it good for drandruff?
Did anyone notice something weird about Selsun? I tried the yellow coloured bottle and clear shampoo came out of the bottle for my initial uses. But after that, out came a thick beige liquid! I thought that the shampoo had gone bad!
Am I suppoed to shake the bottle before use or just leave it as it is?
I think you're supposed to shake each time you use it
I tried! In fact I am using it right now! I just bought it last week actually.Originally posted by Helethea

I have oily scalp, occasional itchy scalp plus dandruff. I was quite frustrated by my scalp actually and I decided to go get an anti-dandruff shampoo.
I picked out SebaMed, because of the gentle PH level and went home with my fingers crossed, hoping that it would not be money down the drain.
Well after the initial use, my scalp felt much cleaner and because of the gentle PH level, my hair was not dried out! Wow! I give it a. Not harsh at all! I love using it.
I would say that this shampoo is really worth a try!
Oh yeah, forgot to add that the SebaMed shampoo smells good too! NO strange medicated smell. LOL
hey tinkerbell i read ur review rather late and i got the Selsun yellow bottle one instead. my review on it...my dranduff all cleared! am going to give my bf for his dandruff problem too. i added a few drops of rose hip oil so its like a hair treatment too. my hair isnt dried out at all. really good stuff and smells like johnson baby shampoo.![]()
Rose hip oil is good for hair too? I must try it as well! Thanks.![]()

add a few jojoba oil also very good!!!
I get dandruff when i am going to be ill. My hair will be all dry & wirey & scalp will start to flake - especially fever.
Also when i wash with too warm water, i get these pimple like things in my scalp & also with more dandruff. I was told that too warm is bad - it will even give problems like pimples on the back.
I have used this Tar preparation from Guardian its a golden brown bottle - heavy chemical smell but works really well for dandruff.
note on Head n Shoulders - I think it promotes long term dandruff problems. Also cheap shampoos - with the promotions of moisturising shampoos - we think we need it but if what your hair really needs is normal to oily scalp shampoo, using moisturising shampoos will cause build-up & dandruff.

The yellow one is just a shampoo.
The blue/yellow bottle is a shampoo and conditioner in one.
Thanks for all your recommendations. Decided to try Selsun (Yellow bottle) last week. It worked miracles immediately. No more itchy and flaky scalp just after 1 wash!
Used to be a fan of Nizoral. Stopped using it when condition improved and then the flakes returned after half a year. Then try using it again but didn't seem to work as well now.
Now I'll swear by SELSUN!
