I re-visited Komachi for the 2nd time ytd and i cut my hair according to matsunaga's recommendation and i think he's really patient and good! Next time i shall try takao horii but yup he cut front bangs for me and yup it's really a new look! u can try it..it's now located at the building in between isetan scotts and the thai embassy bought a moisture cream from them at $28 too! *** it'd be much more ex hehex

Went to Izumi Hair Salon at The Central on Monday after reading the positive reviews here.

Must say that I'm really happy with the haircut, and Izumi-san is a really friendly lady. She was pretty meticulous as well - asking me on the type of fringe that I want, as well as the length of the hair/fringe that I'm comfortable with, etc. Also, as the place (seat) where she washes the hair faces the public (open windows) and I was wearing a dress, she covered my legs with a nice thick blanket - really very very considerate of her.

Haircut was SGD90 though (not SGD80 as I had seen in previous posts). Am not sure if it's cos the price is increased, or if it's cos my hair is slightly longer (around bra length). But both hubz and I love the haircut, so I guess it's much worth it.

P.S. I suspect the receptionist is actually the husband..

Anyone did digital perm at Base Station Tampines before? Is it as good as Shunji?
The new Shunji outlet at 313 looks pack, anyone have experience with their director Masa?
I'm thinking to have my hair cut and perm by japanese trained stylist, called up Izumi and found out that they only have air perm which might not suit all hair type, am thinking whether to try shunji or base stantion

People not sure you realized that please don't ever buy shampoos from shunji~ They marked up the prices very high. That day I went SaSa the same shampoo is so much cheaper!!!
