Guess no reply here..maybe not too many people tried this? Anyway I got an appointment today..hope it turns out great.![]()
hi venuswang, do let us know how your hair turns out and which salon u went to. i'm thinking of doing too.![]()
i did rebond before and my rebonding was very successful not very dryng. Extenso is even better and softer but i guess that depends on individual's hair. mine is volumnous and frizzy and lotsa natural curls in nature.Originally posted by venuswang
Anyway, isit as drying as rebonding?? Cos I did mine in July, and spoilt my hair, mayb my hairdresser cramp too long...so I wondering is this as bad as rebonding?![]()

Would like to find out how long do I have to wait before I am able to do extenso rebond, assuming I've just rebonded my hair?
Jadeite: Would like to check with you your natural curl means hair is wavy or is it hair strand that is really curly??Hope you are able to understand what i meant... cos my hair is really curly. Was just wondering if extenso rebond is able to work on my bad hair.
Thanks![]()
i did the extenso about 5 mths after i did a 'relaxer', the results were still very good but i guess for rebonding it's more harsh so maybe you can try to wait a min of 5 months before going for xtenso. I have curly fringe and wavy back naturally. hope that helps.
Hi gals! Went for the extenso yesterday at Yess salon at Malacca St, near OUB centre, the results are good except that the ends at the side of my hair a little curl, due to me always putting the hair behind my ear. Flora, the hairstylist did not cramp too long and the temperature not set too high as my ends were very brittle and dry, due to my fail rebonding 6mths ago.
The top of my hair is very soft where the new hair are. Would really recommend Flora, as she really very attentive and do her best to make my hair look good. My hair used to have those super frizzy patches, due to old rebonding, she cut it away for me strand by strand. Anyone who wants her number can PM me.

venuswang,
glad to know your extenso went well. just want to ask..did u notice whether the lotion they used touched your scalp? i want to do some form of straightening but worried as i have mild hairloss problem..![]()
No kinda chemical treatment should touch your scalp. If you are worried it might accidently touch the scalp, you might wanna highlight to her your concern 1st, and she will leave it further away.![]()
I went back to Shunji today again for a haircut. Jane, the senior hairstylist, commented that my hair texture look way better than before and the hair looks smoother and softer after 3 months from the X-tenso treatment. Although the hairends on my right still curls alittle bit, but i'm still satisfied with the results. I may consider doing it again if my hair goes haywire again.
My Hairtype: Thick, black hair with oily scalp and dry ends
i did the loreal extenso..it makes my hair natural and healthy!![]()

Hi eileen85, may I know how's the hairstylists at Mine's Salon? Any recommendation?
Just got a leaflet from them:
X-tenso Rebonding (For Straight Conditioned Shiny Hair)
Includes: Hair-cut + Moisture Repair
1 for S$110
2 for S$200
Another one I'm also interested in but not sure whether this make the hair straight too  (anyone knows?):
Soft Rebond (Long Lasting Smoothness with Utra Shine)
Includes: Hair-cut + Moisture Repair
1 or S$80
2 for S$140
The neighborhood salon which I normally frequent is charging $170 for X-tenso Rebonding + Hair-cut + Moisture Repair so I'm quite interested in going to Mine's, but am concern about the quality of the haircut.
Just in case anyone is interested:
