ladies, like to check if your stylist used the flat straightening iron on your hair when u did the loreal xtenso (rebonding)? i've done mine last saturday and my hair is currently poker straight & flat even after 3 washes. wonder if it is because of the flat iron the stylist used on me now i miss my nautral hair.

By right after afew wash your hair should look natural now. Couldn't be the hot iron problem, as i used to rebond my hair also, with the hot plate iron, and after one week, my hair looks more natural straight than ever.

sigh. thanks lez, in fact, my hair was naturally quite straight, i went for the xtenso becos i had leftover perm and wanted to tidy up my hair. but its so flat n straight now even after a few times of washing, i miss the volume my hair used to have. thats why i thought normal xtenso is done only by applying the lotion without flat ironing.

i would like to do the extenso and realised this thread has been dead for awhile.. any recommendation to where I can go? read alot of raves about gary but all posts were 2-3 years back.. where is he now and is there other places where i can try?

permed my hair 3 mths back, now it has gone all haywired, i wan my straight hair back!

Hi! I'm going to rebond my hair next week using L'Oreal Extenso and I really have many questions. I have tried hair straightening before and it didn't last long. It's going to be my first time to have my hair rebonded. The treated part is above my ears and it's still kinda straight but my grown hair is frizzy again. Is it okay that I rebond it? Because I'm afraid that it will cause problems because of the chemicals.
