Coffee Bean
I know, its very cliche right, intro Coffee bean, but this time its different. All this while having coffee in these Starbucks, Coffe Bean Gloria Jean bla bla, no matter which one I go, my expectations will be the same. Not too good, not too bad, just OK. But this time really different, the difference is the connoisseur himself, he is mid 20s guy tall. When he first hand me my coffee, my first thought was "bla, its just another coffee' Oh boy how wrong I was when I took a sip. It was solid! The taste, thickness, blend was really good. I cant remember the name of the coffee because it was ordered for me by someone else, but it has a caramel or hazelnut undertone. its the hot kind, not those ice blended rubbish btw.

All in all, the verdict

1. Coffee 9/10 Really solid and different from all the commercialized coffee Ive tried.
2. Ambience 7/10 Quiet is the key. Its a working place so no screaming kids or teenagers. But it can get a little hot and at times dark.
3. Price 6/10 The usual $8 bucks coffee, well worth but steep price.

AMK Hub Level one Toast Box

The Traditional Coffee that comes in the old school cup, makes the drinking alot more enjoyable. Thick milky coarse taste that you cant find in those ang mo coffee. Yet smoother than your usual koptiam coffee.


All in all, the verdict

1. Coffee 8/10
2. Ambience 5/10 there is aircon, which is a plus, but space is small, very squezzy. Hate the charis and tables too, too small. Awfully noisy.
3. Price 10/10 1dollar plus per cup, cant ask for more
