Yes, their fried rice is one of their best dishes. The xiaolongbao you gotta eat it when its hot, i love the deep fried prawn pancake too.
my favorite is Lao beijing and paradise inn. Apart from Ding Tai Feng, Nan Xiang serves good fried rice too!
Canton I at ION Orchard. Best roast pork I have ever eaten.
i like dian xiao er and tung lok.
Lately i have been going soup restaurant and taste paradise, i love the food they serve there. Its really very up to standard.
how much is the cost of per pax for dynasty paradise and taste paradise? which one of them is more affordable and with good dishes?
I think dynasty serves all the high end dishes if i'm not wrong. Taste paradise will be the more affordable place to go, but the queue is always quite long.
We regularly go to Paradise Dynasty specially whenever we have visitors. Must try aside from their xiao long baos are their beef szechuan noodle soup, egg w/ scallop (hope I got the name right), fried rice, spring rolls, rice cakes. price range for dishes is normally around $10. XLB's are roughly around $12 +. depends on the flavour.
taste paradise is the more affordable one as compared to paradise dynasty. but prepare to wait for a very long one. once i waited for almost an hour for a table for four.
the food i think is just like crystal jade tho.
Yes. I've tried Ding Tai Fong's fried rice at Tampines Mall and Paragon. It's delicious. The rice has a nice texture and doesnt stick together, the way fried rice should be. It seems like they have a separate pot of rice for fried rice, which is process to reduce the moisture so each grain is separate. The rest of the dishes are just okay only.
The rice is very delicious, but sometimes the prawns are not so fresh. I love their sour plum drinks, thinking of it makes me feel so thirsty.
