ooh i love cheesecake factory too! had dinner there the last time i was in LA. heavenly!
I prefer the Banana Cheesecake from Cheesecake factory ( still have some in fridge), also tried their new limited edition Godiva chocolate cheesecake recently but I think its too rich.
My vote goes to Conrad Hotel, cafe at the ground floor Oscar's.
Also try their Chocolate Royale. Heavenly.
The World according to Psycho
Cheesecake from Baker's Inn also rocks!
However the price of a piece of cheesecake really scares me off! One piece costs around $10.95!
Icheesecakes too! Too bad I can't check out the places you ladies recommended. I also love baking cheesecakes
Any nice and easy recipe to share? So far I only know how to bake the oreo cheesecake

Last night I had cheesecake at Secret Recipe (At Plaza Sing) and I told myself I must definitely rave about it at CC!
I absolutelythe cheesecake at Secret Recipe! It melts in your mouth.. and it's sooo sinfully/delighfully rich!
In fact, the cheesecakes there are award-winning! So I guess you can't go wrong with that eh?

But I think I would like it even better if they have it plain.... did you realised there is some very little bits of seeds in it? Cannot pinpoint if it is passion fruit or what
Ariel, just bake as how you will bake oreo cheesecake, just minus the oreo biscuits. For the crust, get some digestive biscuits, blend it with sufficient butter to make it stick together and pat it onto the pan. Try baking the crust for about 10 mins before pouring the cheesecake mix onto it and continue to bake. This will make the crust crispierSorry, cannot provide you with the exact proportions cos I cannot remember where I put the recipe

i'm another cheesecake fan, but tend not to order too often since they're so highly fattening. love the ones from NYDC and coffee bean. the most recent one i tried was the walnut cheesecake from baker's inn at paragon new extension. pretty yummy! they have a decent selection of cakes, and i was really spoilt for choice. here's a picture i took, just for fun.

i like coffee bean's 'weekly buster's cheesecake', the one with some blueberry layer on top, very yummy!
the mango cheesecake from coffee club is very nice too, a little tangy flavor really complements the cake well.
there used to be a restaurant called 'nails' or something like that at siglap? they used to have a corner where they do manicure in the restaurant, don't know if they're closed already? i find their cheesecake pretty decent too, creamy and moist...
I like cheesecakes that's not too rich.....but really enjoy those that's baked by my mum as she experiments with oreo or digestive for it's crust and even makes a layer of chiffon with Kahlua in between the cheesecake. Quite unique and even my hubby who detest anything with cheese eats it whenever she makes it. Love it especially when its just been bought out from the fridge.![]()
