anyone tried the bread from this jap bakery from novena 2 called Mama Bakery? they have interesting bread like some curried lobster, wasabi bread. but I find it so so only, maybe i didnt try the other types of sweet bread. provence is much better, esp the wassant!

another new bakery I found is at upper bukit timah there, near chun tin rd. the mushroom chicken pie is really yummy! i just finished it! they have lots of muffins/cupcakes, egg tart, cakes, etc.

    Longevity Peach Birthday Cake

Hi, I'm looking for a longevity peach shaped cake for my father's birthday. Preferably made with marzipan instead of cream and hopefully tastes nice. (I always feel pretty cakes don't taste nice. )

    Anyone has recommendations?

I've looked at Angie The Choice but theirs doesn't look nice.

Eatzi is owned by Jack's Place. So if you like Jack Place's cakes, I suppose you'll like Eatzi's. Their most famous cake is the mango cake.

    Hi Faerie63,

You may like to try ECreative Cakes. I've had good experiences with them; nice designs, prompt services and the cake actually taste good in spite of how much cream was coated on the cake (esp the 3D ones) and look so cloyingly sweet, but is really quite tasty. My department in my company also orders from them for colleagues' birthdays too. Was not disappointing in their products and service. We could order a cake in less than 24hr notice, with free delivery to boot. HTH
