    Default Birthday Cakes

Hi ladies! I need recommendation on bakeries famous for their delicious cakes as i'm choosing one for my birthday. This year, i would prefer something with strawberry or lychee and even customising pictures on it. Actually, if you have any recommendation of any of the cakes you have eaten before and worth a rave, just drop a post, TIA!

Agreed, bought one for my hubby's birthday a couple of months back and the cake was devoured very quickly. Most people ask for a second slice which was very rare!

I'm a big fan of the Patissier too!! doesnt help that i work within 5 minutes walk distance.. We buy their cakes when we celebrate birthdays in the company.. and we always trot over to buy cakes for tea time, or for my clients when they come to my office for meetings..

You might want to go down to the shop to have a look. You'll be spoilt for choice!

The people there are very friendly and knowledgeable about their cakes. I'm sure they can give you suggestions.. and they do customisation too! like having a smaller size or to make the cake in a different shape etc..

<img src="http://www.emakemeup.com/en/uploads/photoshoot/photo_3902.jpg" alt=""><br /><br />I ordered this from <a href="http://www.creativebake.com.sg/" target="_blank">Creative Bake</a>. Cost me $62 as opposed to $76 from <a href="http://www.savouryfare.com" target="_blank">Savoury Fare</a>. Looks prettier, neater than last year's SF one:<br /><br /><img src="http://www.emakemeup.com/en/uploads/photoshoot/photo_3903.jpg" alt=""><br /><br />The CB sponge tastes really good, but the cream was VERY synthetic So tastewise, SF wins overall (yummy blueberry sponge!). Good thing is that both included free delivery.

The cakes were based on photos of SBS bus models which I photoshopped
