My Dad's Birthday is coming and me and my SO are thinking of having a surprise celebration for him since his birthday is once every 4 years.

Any babes has had any good experience with Caterers with Yummy Food to share

I am also considering Elsie's Kithcen, how was your serving portion?? Was it huge?

I cannot remember, but my parents went down personally to make the order the other time and instructed them specifically not to try to cut down on amounts, we will do our own estimations on turnout and they just follow suit I believe there was more than enough for everyone that day cos I have people telling me that they took 2 or more servings of desserts and other hot favourites

Mum's Kitchen make really good wedding reception buffet too! Their layout is fantabulous...

Dunno about their catering, but the food there is generally good. Oriental does good catering.

I went to a colleague's wedding last year and the buffet was by Revada Food Catering. Usually buffet receptions are quite standard and not too impressive, but the food at his wedding was pretty good! Other than the buffet stuff, they even had cooks doing stir-fries and cooking laska.
