yup yup! used to go there frequently with my ex-colleagues and it's really value for money at $12.80! hehehe the selection is quite ok but they do not have egg tarts in the buffet!

went to Wa h Lok at Carlton Hotel for dim sum today n it's good! love the egg tarts, yam pastry, steamed carrot cake, chee cheong fun, mango pomelo dessert n the pork ribs r good too ( i dun normally take pork ribs!) hehehe

I think it is not bad. But don't order the congee. It is really watery (more like soup!) and has little flavor. My friends felt they purposely made the congee like this so we could fill our tummies with more dim sum.

I don't like Red Star, find it is over rated. Food is average.

I much prefer Yum Cha or even Crystal Jade. Favorite is still the Chinese Restaurant at Raffles Town Club. The sharksfin dumpling soup is so good

I went dragongate for their ala carte dim sum buffet. It's HORRIBLE!!!
The food are like kept overnite and re-cook/steam. Yucks!

Don't know if rivercity practice the same way.

pinkdewy, that's so sweet of you to take leave and bring your bro out

I personally like to go for the dimsum buffet at Miramar Hotel. I like the har gao even though the prawns sometimes not as fresh when I go. My hubby likes the carrot cake there. Downside is that it's a bit out of the way.
