hi, what kind of food was served at Shangri la?

I went to the high tea at Marriot yesterday. pretty good spread of food - sushi, sandwiches, porridge, bee hoon, samosa, duck, chicken, otah, salads, chicken rice, rojak, oysters and of course lots of desserts. quality is not too bad, pretty good value for $ IMHO. $36 net.

    Service was prompt.

Carolyn, it is! I crave it every now and then, esp the ayam masak merah, the thai curry and the bread and butter pudding and strawberry something ..

Goodwood Park has 2 types of high tea though, besides the english high tea there's another one, not sure what is it named though. local high tea? but i would recommend that as there are plenty of local favourites like laksa and durian cake which is fab IIRC it costs around $25
