    Default Romantic birthday celebration

    new over here.

needa help in dining places. It's my first time celebrating my guy's birthday as a girlfriend. and he's leaving for NS soon. planning on a romantic, cosy atmosphere and unique experience in dining.

thought of equinox and Jaan, but ppl were saying that svc is real bad.

and sky dining, but wasnt sure hw the food would taste like.

best would be a place, with MRT stations.

Would like to suggest Brazil Las Pamplas at Club St. I find that it is a very nice restaurant, fresh flowers on every table. If your BF loves to eat meat, you can order the buffet. The waiter will bring different types of meat on skewers to your table, and slice directly onto your plate. The quality of the meat is very good. It is similar to the Brazil restaurant at Sixth Ave, but much more up scale and the service is much better.

    Would also not recommend Equinox.

What about Alkaff Mansion? Never been there but heard a lot of good ratings.

How about My Humble House? There is a special love-seat table in a secluded corner. =)

My humble house is at Esplanade..under Tung Lok but for the special love seat (either table 10 or 11) must be reserved in advanced =)

My recommendation definitely has to be Garibaldi at Purvis street.

    hi there

brought my guy to pierside kitchen at 1 fullerton... they have lots of seafood stuff... & their service was superb! i had arranged a small cake to be presented after our meals & they put a candle for me & surprised him... he was really happy with the food there & the place is super cosy.. you can choose to sit inside.. or alfresco...

price wise.. not cheap.. think i spent about $200.. & he had a glass of red wine too... food's excellent.. though portion quite small... but on the overall is good experience..

I second Secret Garden as well. Celebrated Christmas Eve there last year and the whole ambience was fantastic, not to mention great service! You can also check out Lawry's if you've got a big budget, and also Fosters at Holland Village. I like Fosters for it's cosy atmosphere and soft lighting.
