The prices varies for tarts from LOL, AD etc. And also depends on shipping.. so it's hard to give a definite amount.

    I need help!
I have been burning a large tart with a wick(and that metal disc that goes on the base) and now I'm trying to get it off my burner but it just won't budge! I tried freezeing and cooling it a total of 5 times but it doesn't work! (it worked after the first time i used it, which was for maybe less than an hour). I remember seeing little black particles at the base of the melted wax which is probably oxidation of the metal disc. Is that why the tart won't come off now? I'm dying to try out new scents but I can't cos of this.. will appreciate any advice! thanks loads gals!

saphiration: i usually don't even bother to freeze it. I just use a flat screwdriver n push inwards firmly. A couple of pushes in dif directions and it will slide out.

The tealights you mentioned are a little more stubborn. I used the same method and it came out in a few pieces. Had to use the screwdriver to scrape the leftovers stick stuck on my burner. HTHs.

Tart burner looks just like your regular essential oils burner. Here I managed to find some important notes about tart safety (and pics of tart burners too): http://www.candle-licious.com/html/t...***#SafetyNote

    lilupig,
thanks for the advice! anyway I managed to get the thing out already, but removing the wick and scraping the bottom surface of the oxidised particles before freezing. it came off pretty easily afterwards. maybe I'll try your way the next time.. might prove to be easier if I want a quick fix.

anyway, I've got another question. sorry I've only just started burning 'em..
Do you girls feel that the tarts emit a very plastic smell when they're being melted? this sometimes overpowers the scent the tart's supposed to carry and it sorta stinks. I only put one bite-sized tart in. Is that why?

oops.. erm another question. do you feel that the scent come out better when burnt in an airconditioned room? I usually burn mine in a open room but then the burning rubber smell seems to be what i'm smelling most of the time..

    TIA!

Dear all, i am trying some tarts which i bought from Australia and the fragrance intensity is very good. I burnt it in my room but it travels to the other rooms upstairs and downstairs has traces of the fragrance too.
the packaging shows a website www.scentschipsusa.com
Worth a try for those interested.
